Love this shop, so it’s a pity there’s only one! They recently changed up their recipe, which included adding onions to the sautéed pork topping. I tried to live with it the first time, but there’s just way too many onions. Even my wife, who is fine with onions, asks for her curry to be onion-free. The thing is, in the photos, you can’t even see the onions, so it’s a little misleading. Still! This curry is fantastic, and the variety of toppings is enough to warrant repeat visits. I find myself eating here at least once a month, and always walking away satisfied. If you like spicy foods, definitely start at level 5 when they ask you, but don’t afraid to try level 10 — it’s really not too hot. If you want something hot, temperature-wise, go for the dragon curry. Served in a hot pot, you’ll find steam rising from the bowl from beginning to end. Even if you’re content with Coco Ichi, and who can blame you, I couldn’t recommend this shop enough. I can’t come to Akihabara without feeling compelled to eat here.

This place was a but small and had to wait a bit. Watch your head as you walk up the stairs, it’s a low ceiling !! Friendly staff and could speak a bit of English. I got the dragon curry. It was served in a really hot clay pot. It was pork over rice. Seemed like there also cheese in it. Reminded me of a chili cheese X curry combo and it actually tasted pretty good! The curry can be as spicy as you want, on a scale of 1,2,3,4,5, and 10. I opted for 5 as I didn’t know how much of a jump 10 could’ve been. I personally can handle hot stuff, so a 5 was no biggie for me. Temperature wise, it was hot!!! Throughout the whole dish my curry was hot. Even after I finished the pot was still steaming out because it was so hot. The sauce on the curry was perfect, and surprisingly blended in well with the cheese. It was super filling as well. Just wished this joint wasn’t so cramped !
