Indian and Pakistani food in Japan? Why not? We happened by Sultan on our way to our hotel(Metropolitan Edmont) in Tokyo. We enjoy Indian food so we decided to give this place at try. The verdict? It was AWESOME!!! I had the lamb curry. My wife had the chicken curry. Both were very flavorful and delicious. Was asked if I wanted it spicy, but not knowing how spicy their spicy is(know what I mean?) I just asked for just a little spicy(Which was fine. But next time I know to ask for a little more heat). I actually wasn’t that hungry before going here(in fact, I was debating skipping dinner and only going to pick up dinner for my wife), but the food was so good I wound up eating the whole thing! I also liked the side of pickled vegetables they served with the curry dinners(a nod to being in Japan I suppose). Prices were reasonable(¥950 for the chicken curry and ¥1050 for the lamb curry). Also came with a generous portion of rice. Restaurant was empty when I went(which is surprising considering how good it is). The staff was pleasant(despite looking at me strangely when I first walked in — maybe they don’t get many nonJapanese guests). GREAT Indian food! HIGHLY recommend!
