A billiard and darts bar near Suidobashi Station. I went to this pool & darts bar and never played a single game. What was I doing here? I had a business meeting. At a pool bar? Yep! As many of you know, meeting rooms are competitive in Japan. Even employees at those huge companies in a big building struggle to find a free conference room. Many small and mid size businesses cannot afford an office with a conference room. So many go to cafes like Dotour or Renior. I do everything I can to avoid meetings in such tiny cafes. Seats are so close together, the person next to you could hear your entire conversation. It is also so stuffy and often smokey. Pool&Darts Bar Jack is huge. So spacious that no one would over hear your conversation. Cost of round of drinks is cheaper than rental conference room. My personal Wifi router worked fine on this 6 °F space. There is a nice table where you can layout your laptop and conduct a meeting over beer. What’s the catch? Well, your meeting has to be after 5PM, because that is when the doors open. I was there at 6PM when there was only 5 or 6 other people. Perhaps late at night, this place might get really crowded and smokey. You certainly cannot complain about people smoking in a billiard bar. P.S. People who come here to play darts looked really serious. I think they compete in tournaments and such. # of billiard table — 1 # of dart targets — 6
