Stumbled across this place while wandering around Tokyo. It’s built in to a bridge support structure. This is the kind of place we absolutely love to go to! It’s small, crowded with locals and the people we found were super friendly. We shared a table with a couple that live reasonably close to the place. I couldn’t tell you how long we were there but we closed the place down and had an outstanding time! Most of the communication was done with Google Translate and it was a little challenging. But this was one of the most memorable times and places of the entire trip for me. When the locals recommend a drink from the bar listen to them! Don’t just stick with beer because it’s in your comfort zone. If we ever get back to Tokyo I will definitely expend time and energy to seek this place out again and go there. Think«Cheers» but in Japanese.!! Loved this place and the people we met here.
