The translation of this milk bar is «Mother Farm Milk Bar.» Let me just say that milk in Japan is unbelievably amazing. I wish we had fresh milk like this in Hawaii or the United States. Anyway, this unique shop is located in a mall next to Akihabara station, and it specializes in milk. A patron could order a glass of milk, a soft serve, or a parfait. My sister and I ordered the chestnut parfait and the matcha parfait, and both of them were excellent. However, both of us preferred the chestnut parfait, which included the following: chocolate flakes cereal in the bottom, soft serve in the middle, and chestnut cream(mont blanc?) on top. The final toppings were chestnuts and unsalted, skinny pretzel sticks. I honestly think that this was one of the most memorable desserts that I had in Japan. This shop is popular! In fact, our lactose-intolerant friend recommended it to us because he knew how delicious their milk is. When I was«people-watching,» a lot of people ordered a glass of milk as a refreshing drink. My recommendation to anyone who is in Akihabara is to come here and order the parfait, or order the glass of milk if you’re not hungry!
