Probably the best oyster restaurant I have ever been to. This was right next to our hotel, and we love oysters, so we stepped in for a bite. We ended up having pretty much one of everything oyster based on their menu, and loved all of it. We also got the sausage and some bread. It was all delicious, and the other seafood items that were being grilled at our neighbouring tables looked really nice as well, but we had to stop it somewhere and since we were satisfied we didn’t order any of those items. The staff was friendly and our extremely limited Japanese vocabulary did not cause us much trouble, even though English only worked so-so with most of the waiters we managed fine by just pointing at the appropriate line in the English menu. Price wise we were pleasantly surprised over what our bill ended at, I wouldn’t say it was cheap, but very reasonable at about $ 2/oyster. About the actual oysters: I have had tastier varieties before, but the ones served here were very good. They were well suited for being grilled, for eating raw they were a bit sweet. The whole concept of the restaurant was really great though, with you grilling your own seafood at the table, it all worked so well with the menu and venue that in summary I’d say this was the best oyster restaurant I have been to.
