This is a solid 4 star hotel (I don’t give out 5 stars too often).
Fair price for funky and comfortable room in a great location. What really makes it is the breakfast, just perfect!
4 flights of walk-​up (they WILL bring your bags up for you), good be bit cleaner (but certainly not ‘scuzzy’) and a bit cramped overall, but well appointed and fun place that I would stay at again in an instant.

Would absolutely stay here again. This was the perfect end to our trip in Venice! Almost wish we had done this the first night, but it was great. The singing gondoliers can be seen from the Agosto room where we stayed. The room was small, but really fine for us. We’re not picky about space and were certainly comfortable. All of the host were beyond helpful and very friendly. From carrying our luggage up the stairs to making dinner reservations for us… the customer service here exceeded anything you would find at some chain hotel in the US. We missed the free breakfast, but it was right outside our room. Be sure to checkout the rooftop lounge area for a nice breath of fresh air. Best time to travel here is in mid May to early June, just as Venice warms up and before the tourist season begins.

Greatest hotel experience we have ever had! Tiberio «T» was a very gracious host and we cannot wait to come back and see him again.

First time in Venice on a cruise where we stayed overnight. It was our 25^th wedding Anniversary, so hubs made all the arrangements. It was exactly what we wanted to wake up in Venice.
I usually prefer big hotel chains so I know the hotel will be nice and consistent so coming here I really did not know what to expect. After a crazy long walk trying to find the hotel we finally arrived. We walked in to the main lobby and there were lit candles everywhere. It was beyond beautiful. A very nice young lady checked us in and took us to our room.
She said follow me ok first flight of stairs then second and third. We were so tired of walking, I thought geez do you not believe in elevators. Lol
We arrive to our floor where the breakfast and bar area are. We were warmly greeted with a glass of wine from Tiberio. He made us feel so warm and welcomed. We chatted for a few then went to our room to get ready for dinner.
Hubby opens the door and I was beyond words. Me, speechless! This does not happen often. My favorite color is purple, pretty obsessed with the color. Our room was large, and purple filled the entire room.. From the gorgeous drapes, bed, vanity, chandelier. Talk about attention to detail.
The soft light fixtures on the night stands had purple lamp shades, even the alarm clock was purple. The bathroom was large with gorgeous robes and slippers laid out for us. Besides the color this room was one of the most beautiful romantic rooms I had ever seen.
We opened up our window as it overlooked the canal and all night we heard the Italian guys serenading couples on the gandolas. Oh I was taken to such a wonderful place.
We got ready to go to dinner and Tibero and the front desk lady told us about a great local restaurant, Tiberio had just finished his shift and was nice enough to walk us to the restaurant as we were a bit lost in Venice. Talk about beyond nice. Tiberio was such a pleasure to meet.
We had a lovely evening, woke up the next morning to a large breakfast buffet in the main area right outside our room. Fresh squeezed orange juice, meats, cheese, eggs, expresso etc…
I never wanted to leave this heavenly place. The owner checked us out and was nice enough to let us keep our bags there while we spent the day walking around Venice. The entire staff here are amazing.
This boutique hotel only have 12 rooms named after every month and all are decorated differently. This is not just an average hotel. It’s special in every way imaginable, it’s not a place for everyone, it’s not for a business trip, or for kids.
It’s a romantic beautiful place where couples will be taken to a very special place that is truly indescribable,
I look so forward to visiting again on my next trip. All I have done is dreamt about AD Place since we left. I will never forget the hospitality given and pure satisfaction of such a perfect remarkable place,
Thank you for giving us the BEST memory a lady could ever hope and pray for, it was beyond any expectation I could ever hope for, Elegant, classy, sophisticated, words could never describe this place,

I have stayed in a ton of boutique hotels around the world and I would rate this in my top three hotel stays ever.
Tip: staying here is not cheap but then nothing on this part of the island is. Fully accessible by boat the taxi dropped us off right in front and the hotel staff were there right away to get our bags.
They had everything ready for our arrival and told us everything we needed to know straightaway and took us to our room. They also upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge and gave us a room with spectacular canal views :-))
The room was very well equipped with everything we would need for our stay. We had ample supply of coffee and fruit and a nice mini bar with reasonable prices. The room was also air conditioned which is a real bonus on a hot day. I am beginning to think the lack of air conditioning is a uniquely German exception ;-))
Breakfast here is excellent with great hot and cold choices and there is a full bar with excellent choice of wine and nibbles :-))
The location of this hotel is perfect as most things are only a short walk away. The room is very quiet and beautifully decorated with classy furniture and bed.
I would return here anytime and can’t recommend it enough :-))
