Went to this restaurant during our two night stay in San Gimignano as it was recommended to us by the owner of the Bed and Breakfast we had been staying at. Service and food was fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Had a very nice experience here for dinner the other night. Got the recommendation from a local hotel which was around the corner. Place is small and felt very welcoming when we walked in. We order the house wine which was delicious and cheap which was great! When we got into food there was no disappointment. We stared with the bruschetta bread and the mozzarella and tomato salad, both were very good, the bruschetta stood out more. Entrees we had the meatballs which were amazing and sliced beef. The meatballs were so tender they seems to almost melt in your mouth. No complaints had a great time, friendly staff and would defiantly go back!

We went to this restaurant on our second day in Italy with the intention of having a long, lazy four course lunch. We weren’t disappointed, but we sadly only managed three courses and had to skip an evening meal(substituting it with wine, of course…) It’s fairly fancy looking inside, with stylish décor and crisp white tablecloths, but despite this, has a relatively relaxed atmosphere, and we noticed a few large family groups mixing and matching courses so it can’t have been too stuffy. The food was amazing. The bruschetta was really fresh and tasty and all pasta dishes were well received. The pumpkin lasagne was probably the highlight. For mains we ordered chicken(delicious) and meatballs(which were practically illuminous and looked incredibly scary, but apparently were very nice), and managed, just, to finish every last morsel. At around 170 euros for three courses for four people with wine and mineral water, we thought it was well worth it.

This restaurant initially seems to good to be true. It is near a ‘punto panoramico”in the town of San Gimignano in Tuscany. It has a nice smiple lunch menu, withe the best bruschetta i have ever tasted. The décor is very Italian, as are the staff, It is a hidden gem amongst many over populated tourist eateries in the smae vicinity. The wine was incredible, and very reasonably priced. I enjoyed the food so much i finihsed and asked to order the same thing all over again. Spinach and Ricotta Lasagne comes highly reccomended. If you are not confident speaking Italian, this is a place to try your very best as i can imagine they might be a little peeved if you presumed they would speak to you in English. The food, view, wine and location are all wonderfull. For me the only downside was the price was a little out of my budget, but if you arn’t as worried about money as me, this place is not too expensive and you will not be dissapointed with the food and service. DO check out this place if you are in San Gimignano and you fancy some great authentic italian cuisine in a typically Italian setting with panoramic views.
