I saw the other reviews and sitting down. I too was lured by the number of people sitting down, but it was an equal number of tourists and locals. I ordered risotto with seafood. Quite frankly I just wasn’t overly impressed. The price was decent enough, but it just struck me as one of the many restaurants in a tourist heavy area. Just not so memorable.

Stopped in for a beer while waiting for the shuttle back to the Cavalieri. Service was fine and the price for a 1L was good at 10 Euro. They served it in a small pitcher with two chilled glasses so we could share.

Avoid this tourist trap. Although the terrace is full, there are no locals in this place. We wanted to get happy hour a few hours before dinner(one of those drink + buffet afternoon deals). We decided to get it here based on the sign offering a drink and buffet for 8 euros(pretty standard price). Well, there is no buffet or any choice whatsoever. With our small glass of wine we received basically a plate of bland eggplant, not even olives or anything like that. Based on this and the other reviews skip this place!

The café is just down the hill from the Hard Rock Café(in case anybody cares) and just across the way from the Capucin funky monk place/museum. We just stopped in to rest the feet, read the map and grab a coffee. There were also some pastries in their pastry display case and I couldn’t resist one of the creamier variety so pretended that I bought it for my wife(and knew she wouldn’t want it) and ate it all. Good coffee, good pastry. Added to the good list is that the toilets are clean and the waiters are sweethearts.

Didn’t like this place at ALL. They reel you in from the street because the patio is full, no cover charge etc. But all the people eating there are tourists — so expect bad food. We are lasagna and pizza — lasagna had an asterisk next to it warning: may be microwaved. Huh?! What kind of italian cuisine is this! My pizza was okay, my boyfriends lasagna he said was terrible(as expected) and the waiter was just okay, not really that attentive but we were used to that European service. Overall we regretted eating there even for its convenience and would’ve walked further to find a better more authentic place to eat.

For my recent trip in Rome, there were few places that I managed to find that offered a good tasty lunch or meal(rather disappointingly). Found this place and ended up visiting twice for lunch. It was a haven from the heat sitting inside rather than choosing to sit outside. The waiter was very pleasant and the food was tasty. We had a selection of dishes including pasta, risotto and pizza. All very tasty, would recommend this place.

Dishes are tasty but they’re way too expensive and small. Service is fine, the place has free wifi and outside seating.

Our hotel wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we popped over for a lite lunch. My husband and I split a pizza, which was good, but nothing super special. We had a pizza and 2 bottles of water for € 14.

15 euros for breakfast… enough said. The«Italian Breakfast» consisted on two pieces of white bread with melted cheese and tomatoes, a coffee and an orange juice. The orange juice when ordered alone is fresh squeezed. When order with the meal it is from the worst bottled variety. Like any of the restaurants around Rome’s hotel district, there is no value to be had. There is limited seating in this café(maybe 15)…
