This place is great for a quick bite to eat. Every time I’ve been there it’s been completely empty. The food is above average and the service is great as well. The only complaint I have is that it might be just a tad bit overpriced. I got a small appetizer, a gyro, and a tiny dessert, with a water, and a coke for 19 euro. I don’t think it should’ve been any higher then 15. Anyways it’s a cool place to try if you’re getting tired of pasta for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

My FAVORITE meals in Florence were in this restaurant! I’ve been continuously underwhelmed with our meals in the city. I found this place by recommendations on tripadvisor and people were NOT kidding when they suggested that tourists visit this place! I’m a huge fan of Greek food and this is by far the best food I’ve ever had. I ordered the gyro with chicken and it is simply divine. The pita is grilled to a crisp and I’ve never had anything like it! This place also has the best french fries I’ve had in Florence! It’s so, so, good and a deliciousness you need to taste before you leave! The service here is great! You’ll find some of the chefs conversational and humorous. This place is a must, no kidding!!!

The souvlaki was amazing and the Greek salad was delicious and had big chunks of feta… a little too much olive oil though. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. Had one of the mastiha(Greek liquor) that was very tasty. Finished off with the orange cake for dessert. Great dinner for two for less than 25 euro.

I came by this greek bistro completely by accident while I was walking down via Cavour from piazza San Marco. When I stepped into the door, I was immediately greeted by one of their staff and she explained all of the dishes. Everything sounded good, but I was deciding between one of their pita sandwiches and a torta of phyllo dough which was filled with feta. I ended up getting a pita sandwich that is normally filled with feta, salad, fries, tzatziki sauce and your choice of meat. She made mine senza meat and it was delicious. To finish I ordered a café macchiato, which was amazing! Coffee is by Illy and served in one of their uniquely designed cups. The atmosphere of this bistro is nicely filled with mediterranean paintings and you can see right into the kitchen and watch some of the dishes being prepared. The only issue that I can see being a problem here is that there are only three tables and not very much space elsewhere. I did see a downstairs area but I couldn’t see what was down there, if there were tables or not. They are open saturdays and sundays too until 10pm(closed only on Mondays). «Alas le delizie greche» is a great place to pick up some greek specialties to take home such as hummus and feta, as well as typical greek sweets, honey and jams. Cute gift ideas, which come nicely wrapped. Very cute place, worth checking out if you are in the San Marco area … much better than those overpriced pizza /gelato spots around the corner!
