Best café in Dublin! Nice variety of tea and coffee(iced or hot), warm décor, outside and indoor seating, great service, and house made baked treats and delicious sandwiches! Would go everyday if I lived in Dublin :) I work in a café in the States and drink tea constantly. As soon as I got to Dublin, I started looking for a café that had a good tea selection but the options were very limited and usually tea bags. Very happy to find this spot! And even a greater surprise that they also have a good coffee selection. It is hard to find both!

This coffee shop is so cute! They have a massive rang of teas and coffees. I tried the house blend which had a hint of vanilla, but too be honest it was actually too strong and I couldn’t drink it! On the main floor they have and out door seating area with really cute cushions and I think it’s a great space to relax and unwind. Downstairs they have a cool chill out area that looks like a sitting room, big comfy sofas and chair. Next time I go I’ll definitely still to a coffee I know and chill out for a while in he out door seating area!

This is a funky coffee shop with great tunes playing and a smart alternative décor. There is an area that’s just like your living room, very laid back and everyone chatting to each other. There is a large variety of teas and the coffee(house blend) is so good. I really like how the place smells, the smell of the teas and coffee on offer fills the place. I had a sandwich that was very fresh and if eating healthy is a must this place meets that criteria. I’d definitely come back.

When I discovered this little tea shop, I was so happy to find so many teas in the same place. I was also surprised by the fact that they have so many gluten free options: scones, carrot cakes, brownies … I was feeling like a child in a toy shop ! They also have matcha latte, which is perfect with a treat of the side. I definitely recommend this place in Portobello !

Such a wonderfully pleasant place to enjoy a coffee or, as they are more well known for, tea! I met a friend here one cold winters evening, arriving at about half four. We sat downstairs in the basement(so cosy and warm) for almost 2 hours chatting away. The staff were lovely, and the mocha was perfect! Very quirky interior, and I would truly love to try some of their teas. Pass by this place almost every day, and it always has a steady stream of customers in and out. Would recommend :)

I have a couple of celiac friends and let’s be honest there’s only that many chocolate brownies one can eat until you get tired of just having the one gluten free choice. But this place is amazing, all their cakes are homemade and most of them glutten free. Amazing selection of teas and to make it even better they will make your coffee with whatever milk you want(almond, soya, coconut…) without crazy extra charges. The staff is also extremely friendly and whomever knows me knows bad customer service is my pet hate. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I absolutely adore the variety of tea on offer here. It’s a great little place to sit and relax and simply enjoy the purity of the tea! The blooming tea is wonderfully relaxing, I would particularly recommend the Xu Ri Dong Sheng(Rising Sun) tea. The Jasmine Silvery Strawberry Flower tea buds deserve a mention too!

I have only started going to Wall & Keogh in the last few weeks. I am now an addict. The homey, local feel, the outdoor ‘tea garden’, the selection of teas and coffees, and the all day brunch have kept me coming back for more. The staff have always been lovely, even if a little overwhelmed sometimes. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere here that makes me think of Accents more than Clement and Pekoe. It’s not posh and I like that. The standards for their coffees, teas and food is still high though. They provide the tea for so many places around town that I knew about them before ever going to the shop. I can recommend«Put the Cat Out» — a blend of chamomile, mint and lavender. I bought myself a bag for home brewing. Their selection of teas is so interesting that if you are up for trying something strange and new you are bound to find it here. Last time a friend of mine had a red bull flavored matte. Definitely different! Also, very importantly, they don’t just have one gluten free option, all their cakes seem to be gluten free and delicious. Very exciting altogether.

Another hidden gem in lovely portobello. You could walk past this place thinking it’s just a tea shop and not really know what a find this place is. This place is small and cosy, so great place to relax on a chilled weekend. The tea selection in this place is absolutely delightful, and this is Ireland so you do need the tea to be good after all :-) They also offer all day breakfast, which, let’s face it, is what you really need for a good café in this day and age. If you’re not so hungry, don’t fret, they’ve also got you covered with a good collection of cakes to choose from. The absolute best part of this place though is the little yard out the back. If you’re lucky, you’ll have this place to yourself which is such a treat, with a super comfy bench piled up with cushions, just perfect for a nice intimate chat with a good friend or partner, or equally to just chill out with a good book in peace and quiet. On a rare sunny Dublin day the joy of this hidden corner is amplified even further, it really is a delight! All in all, after 3 years in Dublin intending to come here, I know that it won’t take me another 3 to come back. One of the best things here is that it’s small and lovely, but just not as busy as some of the other places in this trendy hood. But now that I’ve let that secret out, treat it with care and let’s keep it that way ;-)

Nice coffee. Girls asked me would I like the regular coffee or the vanilla flavoured one. They are using Alpro soya milk so big plus. Some of the coffee shops using Sojade which taste a bit like grass. The place is convenient only for the locals, too bad that there is no more locations :-(

All I see is tea! So much tea and so little time, I finally got to try one of those flowers that open up when they hit hot water and it was actually delicious. They have a lot of fresh, homemade and GLUTENFREE cakes which are tasty and very very edible. They have a nice outside area as well. I am coming back here for sure, it is a nice change from going to bars. I’d bring a deck of cards here and some good friends.

Good shop to buy unpacked teas, they have even Mate tee(but the way they serve it is not the traditional way in South America). Never being for brunch there, but it looks ok.

I’ll never forget the first time I made my way to Wall and Keogh, which was just by accident. I had just moved to Dublin and needed a caffeinated drink. I ordered a chai latte, a drink not on the menu, that the cashier/barista was happy to make for me since I clearly had no idea what I was doing. Only once they had finished and I was going to pay did they mention they only took cash — I had none. They were so hospitable and said to just come back when I had the money. Amazing. I came back the next day and have been a huge fan ever since. They have so many tea options– and the place smells amazing! It has a very cozy feel to it, and the staff have been so nice when I’ve been in. They’re actually there to help you! I’ve heard their lunch is quite nice, and they have a quaint back patio where you can enjoy some fresh air! I plan to take advantage of that soon!

This is not a brunch even if you will find it looking for a brunch place via many app. The outside garden is nice but the service is less than mediocre and the food is not good. Coffee and tea are nice but really, if you’re looking for a real morning indulgence with the same hipster spirit, you should rather head to grove road café. It was a real disappointment but the place is still nice for a coffee I guess

Visited here in January for lunch. Just around the corner from the amazing Bretzel bakery in Portabello. They have an amazing selection of teas but I’m afraid I ordered coffee. Fiancé did try Darjeeling(I think) and the tea came in a leaky teapot. I don’t know why but I think most teapots leak. It was peanut butter day the day we went and he chose toast with peanut butter. I went with a tuna melt. The bread was still soft after it was toasted. Perfect food on a cold January day. Lovely spot for lunch

First thing that got my attention was the incredible smell in this place, the mix of all the different tea leaves and coffee beans creates a little heaven! I was immediately drawn to buying something for myself. I resisted, but only because I’m not going home for a while after today and there’s no point carting coffee beans around. I ordered my first green tea latte here, figuring that if there was anywhere to try weird tea stuff, it would be here. It was disgusting to be honest but that’s no comment on W & K. Just not for me. Does it taste like fish to anyone else? I also ordered a chicken sandwich which was pre-made which had me wary but I need not have worried, it was delicious! Really crispy bread and hot through! The service is great, I had to run to the atm for cash but the girl had my order ready by the time I got back and she even gave me double loyalty stamps for my troubles! The space is nice, a bit hipster; the counters are old shipping boxes, and the walls are decked out, with mounted skulls alongside a portrait of Twiggy. Ok so. I’ll be back but I’ll stick to what I know in terms of beverage!

This is one of my favourite tea places in Dublin. I admit I do not go there often, but when I do I’m always satisfied with service and quality. You arrive and will see a small place, 4⁄5 small tables. Don’t worry there is more room, just ask the staff and they’ll show you where to enjoy your tea or coffee. In Summer, make sure you relax in the backyard. It’s cozy and it feels like being somewhere else. Now, I’m not a WiFi person when outdoor, but some customers bring their laptops and work there. I believe WiFi must be good as some people stay there for hours. My goal is to be able taste all the teas they have, still so many to go but I am looking forward to do so. Just, but this is not their fault, if you plan to go there by DublinBike, no many slots might be available in the stations nearby after 6pm.

Tearific. I love tea as much as coffee and this place has so many teas that it hurt my eyes and head trying to decide. In the end I had darjeling which was served in a cute pot that leaked. Why do tea pots leak? We had Tuna Melt which was delicious and I had peanut butter on toast which was apt as today is national peanut butter day. Nice space with friendly staff and quirky but not overdone.

This is an awesome place, they have A LOT of different sorts of tea that all smells better than the other. I have tried Irish Breakfast tea and it was great. Also, I think their prices are not too expensive, I expected it to be more expensive than that since it’s a very small shop. By the way, this place is very cosy and I’d love to go back there to spend a whole afternoon, it felt really restful. All their cakes are gluten free which is probably one of the reasons I like this place so much. I’ve tried the matcha cake and it was really good, I can’t wait to try the other cakes ! I’m so glad there is a place selling other fresh gluten free cakes than brownies. Last but not least, the staff were amazingly nice, all very pleasant, it’s rare enough to be mentioned ! Only tiny negative point, when I went there, they did not take the credit card, I don’t know if this is permanent or if the machine was not working on that day but that’s too bad, I never have cash on me so I couldn’t buy some tea to take home, I was really disappointed by that, I’ll try to think about it before going there next time !
