The Wine Workshop

This is the latest and very exciting instalment on the Dublin Wine Scene. The workshop is not just an ordinary wine shop however. Besides selling extras like Riedel glassware, fine chocolate, tea and olive oil they also host wine workshops and tasting events. A number of wine clubs already call this space home and visits by prominent wine makers and vineyard owners are on the calendar of events happening in the coming months already!
The selection of wine is weighted towards Italy with some stellar wines on show at amazing value. The rest of the world is also nicely represented with unusual and interesting vineyards and producers from Austria, South Africa, Alsace, Burgundy and even Okanagan valley all making the shelf.
I think this shop is going to make a great addition to the area for wine geeks, locals and people looking for a good bottle to bring to some of the nearby BYOB restaurants. And as they are just getting started who knows what they will add to their portfolio in the coming months.
Finally I think the in-​store wine education environment they aim to develop is something that will set them apart from other wine stores.
