I LOVE chinese takeout & this little place was introduced to me by a friend — the name is cool! So I had to try it! I got the Beef in black bean with boiled rice for mains which was lovely but the beef was a bit on the chewy side. The Kung Po sauce & rice crackers were ok, but the Salt & chili chicken was unreal! OMG I love this dish! I would definitley recommend it to anyone. Its a little out of my way as its in deansgrange & I live in D12. But will definitely consider it again!

Took over an hour to delivery to 6 mins down the road on a Tuesday night and because I rang to enquire about how long more the order would be the driver snapped that«it’s a busy restaurant» when he got to my door! Not going to be ringing this place again!

Three hungry men very satisfied, and pleasantly surprised, with a post-races feed. Prawns and scallops with garlic and chilli particular good.

There are two ways to enjoy Rickshaws… you can eat at the restaurant or get a take away… I prefer the former because the latter is simply just not good enough. The building itself is quite nice and picturesque even. it really suits the Chinese restaurant feel. The staff are nice and the food is quite good. Not astoundingly good, but good for a night out and the price you pay. When you order food from here, they charge the same + delivery costs. the food is usually hot but it is a little soft. or something. but its not quite right. So don’t bother ordering, just go and enjoy the food in the restaurant itself!

Kitsch décor complete with golden waving cat should let you know what you’re in for with this establishment. Service cannot be faulted, they are very attentive, and their set menu is extremely good value. Food is nothing spectacular, but is nice enough. Worth a visit if you live in and around the area, but certainly not worth travelling for.
