Excellent food in a lovely setting! Every dish that came out was delicious and you could tell it was all freshly prepared and cooked just minutes before. Really great extensive menu, lots of vegetarian options. Very friendly and attentive staff.

I really like this place. The food is good, the staff are so friendly and accommodating and they bring out the karaōke machine late at night!

The food is great, the staff are nice, just don’t eat the decorations. We go in here as a family group. We are not an easy family group. There are 3 kids, one 80+ vegetarian with limited hearing, and 3 adults. We argue about who pays and will probably leave a pink whotsit drawn on the tablecloth. They a have a nice table(one) outside and a fountain with goldfish(fairly hardy as my nieces and nephews haven’t yet killed them). So, when I say: ‘the staff/service is good’, I mean: ‘THESTAFFISREALLYGOODANDHASTHEPATIENCEOFSAINTS’. We go here quite a lot because the quality of the food is great, much better than other local restaurants, they have a good vegetarian selection, and they are patient with kids. From a foodie perspective, they do awesome things with ducks. My only criticism is this: a lot of the dishes come with really pretty ‘carrot flowers’. Adults tend not to eat these(on the grounds that, ‘who would carve those every time, bet they’ve been on 50 tables on that already’). Kids think: OOOH, pretty… must eat… ick…arggggggggggg…putrid. Don’t eat the flowers and you’ll be fine.

Victoria Asian Cuisine was formerly part of the Wong’s group of restaurants and it shows when you’re inside. The heavy, brooding interior of black-lacquered wood panelling and diptych screens inlayed with oriental designs have that same Shanghai-style opulence that the Wong’s in Ranelagh affects. The food is generally very good, I tried the ‘Triple Crown’(mushrooms stuffed with shellfish, I think) and was not much impressed, but it was a gamble-order and I was taking my chances anyway. The more staple menu items went down a storm with the rest of the group though and, in general, the grub is tip-top and reasonably priced to boot. A good fun night out, perfect for groups and one of the best if it’s Far-Eastern fare you’re after.
