This is my favourite place in dublin for a cocktail. I was here yesterday with my bf. I had the mango mojito and my bf had the mai tai. The bar tender was excellent took her time making them and was full of chat! Could not rate the cocktails highly enough. Can’t wait for my next visit to get smashed up on cocktails

Great staff and cool place. Great cocktail deals but pints can be a bit on the high side. Worth a visit!

Had three rounds of cocktails this afternoon which was spoiled when upon leaving we were wrongly(and loudly) accused in front of a full bar of not having paid for one of the rounds. The barman made us wait while he conspicuously searched our table for receipts while maintaining we were in the wrong. Talking to the other bartender he eventually realised his mistake and apologised. Spoiled the afternoon and neither I nor any of my companions will ever give this place another cent of business. Awful customer service.

2 cocktails for a tenner on a Saturday night after 10! What more could you want on a whistle stop visit to Lost Society. I really liked it in here, the place was really full, the bouncers friendly, music good and loud and the raspberry mule I had gorgeous, like jelly tots in a glass!!! YUM! I’d have loved to stay longer but we’d a table booked somewhere else and had to go… I’ll be back for sure though for a full night of fun and amazing cocktails soon!

Absolutely love this place, downstairs can get pretty cold so it forces people to keep dancing so that’s cool. Quite expensive, pretty much like everywhere in Dublin though but the music is really good and so is the staff.

Essentially comprised of four rooms, tastefully decorated, with couches and chairs and snugs everywhere, this lounge bar is perfect in many respects. Firstly, it is over 23s, so the crowd is good. Secondly, the DJs know how to keep the music pumping, whilst not being too loud for a bit of a chat. Thirdly, the ambiance is just incredible — purple lighting, interesting décor and a general air of affluence allows for a very comfortable evening. You wanna dance? You can dance. And should. You want to chat? Go for it, it’s not too loud. You want table service? Book a table and have service for the large portion of the night(especially if you keep ordering champagne…) Sure, this kind of place attracts clientele that are a special breed of pretentious, but that is fun in itself. Unfortunately, my second night visiting Lost was marred by a friend of a friend’s bag being nicked. She did leave it unattended. The bouncers were incredible though, as was the bar manager. They did everything they could to retrieve it(even ran down the road after the culprit!). I don’t think that this sort of thing happens frequently at all! One should never leave belongings unattended anyway. For more reviews, go to !

First time here, didn’t got for food rather just a night out. Really good vibe, great DJ, place was packed. Pricey drinks so I’d make sure you have a bit in you before you come here. I never drink spirits but I decided before I went out that I was going to have a night with Captain, Captain Morgan that is, and would you believe that didn’t have it. Of all of the things… I mean you’re supposed to be a bar. They have an alternative brand spiced rum and it was not very tasty. I’m sure I’ll be back but next time I’ll make sure to smuggle in a flask of rum!(ok, not really… because I love supporting local Irish business)

I’ve only been here at night when the place is open as a nightclub, so I am only reviewing this aspect of the place. The Lost Society has a unique setting in an 18th century town mansion, the place is pretty big and well laid out. The bar is well stocked albeit a bit expensive, especially after the recent price increases. The staff and security are always courteous and well mannered, even during very busy nights. The place has a lovely ambience and is a fantastic place to drink(or drug, if you’re that way inclined) the night away.

Terrible !!! Was there last night. No atmosphere. Absolutely no craic. Went down stairs– hardly anyone down there. Don’t know what the DJ was at. He just kept playing the same beat over and over again. It was so boring. The only positive was the girl on he bar down stairs with blonde hair, she was very nice. I will not be going back there.

Without a doubt the best bar in Dublin. It really fills a niche in the market. A perfect place for girly cocktails, equally great for a dance and a brilliant spot for parties. Lost Society is the perfect place to start off a night out, although many times I’m still there when the lights are coming on I have such fun. The cocktail menu is huge and very well priced. They’re well made too and generous on the alcohol! Another thing I really like about here us that they’re super efficient behind the bar and whip up your cocktails pretty quickly compared to a few other places that do cocktails. Can’t praise the manager Brian enough. He’s always very visible be it at the entrance, behind the bar or on the floor. He makes people feel so welcome and is so accommodating if you have any requests or want to organise something there. Keep an eye out too for different things they have going on in there. They do jazz nights, cocktail classes and movie screenings!

Lost Society did make me feel lost… there is a downstairs area that you have to pay separate to get into than upstairs, and the downstairs area is not classy or beautiful as the other reviews have said upstairs is. A friend and myself were able to convince the coat guy to let us go the back way to go upstairs and it IS really nice up there, and they have drink deals on things like cosmos… while downstairs the drink deals are on jagerbombs(made with Monster so it had a different name). It ended up being really confusing for a lot of people, because half of the people on our society night out paid to go upstairs while the others paid to go downstairs and we had to convince the very-upset-coat-guy-at-this-point to let them downstairs because if they tried to go the ‘correct’ way they would have to pay again, even though they had the stamp. The drinks were really good and cheap though! And the layout was nice once you figured things out and the chairs were so comfy…

Came for a friend’s birthday party. What a gorgeous venue! Overall it had a classy feel to it but not in a snooty way. I liked the layout as each room seemed to have its own vibe. The birthday had one room reserved just off to the right as you walk in. There were 8 – 10 small tables around the room with little stumps for sitting and re-arranging as needed. Each table had its own vodka mixing station with OJ, cranberry, limes, and a few bottles of vodka on ice so we were free to make drinks at our leisure. As far as group reservations, it was an awesome setup and I’d recommend getting the same package to anyone. Even though that room was great, we were free to wander the rest of the venue and return to the party room whenever we wanted. The downstairs dance floor was awesome. I felt like J-Lo in an Usher video with all the laser lights shooting around me. I can’t be sure but I think the lasers had a positive influence on my dancing abilities? Giant outside smoking deck with heater lamps for taking a break or just getting some fresh air. I had an amazing time at Lost Society and I’m already looking for an occasion to go back.

Formerly Spy, The Lost Society on South William Street was an absolute treat. I had to walk in twice to take in the beauty of the bar. It’s absolutely stunning. One of Ireland’s well known bartenders, Mr. Pat Thomas who’s well known on the flair and mixology scene prepared a fantastic Sazerac, one of the cocktails ‘in fashion’ at the moment and it was delicious. It was a damn shame that tere were only two other customers there so the atmosphere was basically non existant but as a fan of a well made cocktail, I will definitely go back.
