Insomnia

I had: Croque Monsieur and coffee
Hmm. It was a bit meh. The guy at the till seemed a bit overwhelmed by our order of 3 sandwiches, a soup, a coffee and a bottle of water as I d to repeat my order a few times. We were eating in so ordered and paid. The wrap and sandwiches were being toasted so I went to sit down while my eating companions waited for the food. When it was handed to them they didn’t realise that the soup had not materialised despite it being paid for and being mentioned twice while paying.
While I fully appreciate we should have spotted it being missing when the sandwiches were handed to us it baffles me that they have no way to keep track of what was handed out or that they don’t hand out the soup when you pay for it.
The sandwiches were also nothing to write home about.
Between the poor service and meh food I can’t see myself rushing back
