We had lunch here on a Saturday. Very good service, and the mains were delicious. I had penne pasta with meatballs and a spicy tomato sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was sweet and full of flavor.

Ate here late one night after a concert at Iveagh Gardens. My daughter claims it to be the best meal she’s had in all of our visit to Dublin… And Ireland for that matter. Friendly service and excellent sauces. Worth it.

CAKES!!! Never had a real meal here but had lunch… The food is good… But the cakes are incredible(I almost cursed at how good they are). Anyway I have started to go her for a mid-afternoon coffee and cake as they have really good deals going. The staffs are friendly. Badis, the manager is such a pleasant guy to talk with. Their coffee is a good one and the price reflects the area. But a nice place really Sicilian which is what they’re going for… so that helps. Well it’s really Italian anyway. My roommate had food there and he said it was fairly delish and a great price for the pre theatre(I think that’s what he and my friend went for) Overall a really nice spot, use to be La Boulangerie… but that franchise is now closed… but they still have the amazing cakes OH and right outside a Dublin Bike stop so it’s perfect to get a coffee to go when you park up. Free Wi-Fi from across the street Doyle’s is picked up.

I was strolling up toward the top of Grafton street wishing for a place that had some decent food, outdoor seating(in chilly November) and wasn’t a pub. The red-orange glow of Il Fico led me down a side street and toward the 12.95 three course meal… and yes, they had heated outdoor seating under an awning so I could watch the punters spending their last pre-austerity-budget disposable income on armloads of shopping. The wine list by the glass was OK, with prices commensurate with Dublin’s inflated fees for non-Guinness, and the options for the prix-fixe menu were generous. I had a bruschetta starter, tasty home-made sausage main, and a nice helping of rasperry-and-chocolate ice cream for desert. I enjoyed the heated patio area, and would seriously consider just coming and having a glass of wne some afternoon to people watch and pretend to be a tourist. I walked away satisfied, not overly full, and will be going back! Bottom Line: 12.95 for food, 5 for wine, and all the sexy Italian accents I could handle for free!
