I watched the rugby match in here last weekend. We had booked a table(necessary when there’s a match on). We were all very satisfied with our food choices. I had the prawn linguine which was delicious. There were a lot of prawns throughout it, it was a huge portion(I could only eat about half of it and had help to finish the rest). It wasn’t overly creamy either, great dish. Harry’s was packed with a great atmosphere and there was very good table service. This was great when it was so busy and the match was on, we didn’t have to leave our comfy table and push through the crowd to get drinks. I had one of their non-alcoholic cocktails(the Homemade Lemonade cocktail) and it was very tasty, I would definitely order it again. They were handing out coupons for a free Heineken to everybody in Irish jerseys, a good touch. Staff were all very friendly and service was prompt. I couldn’t fault it at all!

One of my favourite places to go to in Dublin! Ive been here a good few times and I’m never disappointed with their service! It’s handy bar to go to for a few drinks after work! Their cocktails are to die for! Their drink portions are very good! They also have a lot of Facebook competitions and it’s always good to enter because your literally treated like royalty(their competitions are regularly on but it’s worth entering). Staff are lovely and their venue is stunning! It’s a must go to! I wish I could give it more stars!

I came here with a group of 6 for drinks. It is one of the coolest places in Dublin! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the presentation of drinks and food is fantastic. It’s great for groups and is a really nice big open space, we ended up here for hours because it’s just such a comfortable spot!

Meh. The place is okay inside but very dark with no windows. The staff weren’t that friendly and the atmosphere is dead. I won’t be back here in a hurry…

The lunch prices were great. € 9.45 for a fantastic Beef and Guinness Pie, as well as € 9.45 a Traditional Irish Stew. The service was fantastic and timely. Basically after eating this, I feel as though my life is complete, and I can now happily pass at any time. Thanks Harry’s for completing me.

One of the worst pubs that I visited in Dublin. Terrible service! We were left waiting 15 minutes and people that arrived before us and sitting by our side were served… In the end we left, it wasn’t worth waiting and the drinks are very pricey.

I really liked Harry’s on the Green. However it is incredibly expensive! On the positive side the staff are super friendly telling us that there is 2 for 1 Thursday between certain times and being really smiley and nice! Along with this was the outstanding drinks which tasted delicious and were packed with alcohol! However the price is a massive deterrent. € 12 for a cocktail is just too much to be spent on a regular occasion however if you’ve got money to spend and want a fancy cocktail evening out with some friends try this place it’s actually great if you can afford it!

I thought I had previously review Harry’s, but it seems I haven’t. Had I done so, based on previous visits, I would have given 4 stars. The cocktails, while expensive, we delish. Service was never 100% but sure. what the heck right. They used to have a large outdoor seating area that was pleasant to sit in and have a few cocktails. Fast forward to Saturday evening. They had maybe 6 tables outside and they seem to have taken away the awnings and enclosure they had. It didn’t seem very busy, which was a surprise as it used to always be packed. We decided we’d stop for a cocktail. Went in to grab drink list and noticed that they were flogging cocktails on the cheap. 8 squid. Ummm… So, I ordered a long island iced tea, with little expectation due to the cheapness. I was right. It was not great and had an odd flavour. As I just wanted to sit outside for a few minutes longer, we ordered another round. I had the same again. knowing it would be poor. Its pretty bad when you expectations are the lowest as can be and you are still surprised at how bad it is. What I was served was basically watered down cola. Somethings gone wrong here. maybe change of owner/manager? I must investigate. We left shortly after and will not bother to go back. Ever.

Harry’s has one of the nicest cocktail menus around the city, with a wide range of varied drinks from classic cocktails to original creations. I’ve only been in there a few times; once for food and couple more times for some after dinner cocktails. All their drinks are made with the best spirits and with fresh ingredients. I’ve yet to see what the place is like on a busy weekend but considering the decent cocktail menuand regular mix and match promos on bottles of beer, this place seems like a good place to start your night. It reminds me of a swanky New York cocktail bar; lots of booths bartenders dressed in waistcoats and of course fantastic drinks. The music usually pretty funky; I think I’ve heard James Brown and that kind of stuff playing nearly every night I’ve been in there. In my few trips there I have managed to make my way through a decent portion of the cocktail menu. They do great Whiskey Sours and a very refreshing Dark & Stormy but the best cocktail they have by far is the Ferrero Rocher. It tastes just like its namesake only in alcoholic liquid form!

We came to Harry’s before a show at the Gaiety. We’re celebrating to so thought it would be nice. The menu, though vast, was disappointing for vegetarian options. Only 2 mains(veggie burger & risotto) and 2 starters(crostini or bruschetta). The rest of the menu looks gorgeous though. I had the chicken supreme and the Mister had the veggie burger. Both were lovely and great big portions. The drinks menu is delicious and will certainly be back to try more of them!

I’ve been here a few more times since my last review and I’m adding on a star. Granted, I usually go in late afternoon/early evening so it’s not jammers and that’s the way I like it. The cocktails are excellent and the service each time I’ve been in there has been good. Food’s not bad either. Over all, I’m a fan!

Their cocktails are second to none! If you’re looking for a unique and original cocktail, this is the place! Most cocktails cost € 10 – 12, loved the black forest gâteau one! Definitely worth the money as proper ingredients used. Originally got the deal but have returned a few times since. Staff are all friendly, fun to watch the cocktail specialists make the cocktails too!

This place knows cocktails. They recently developed their own, called Gin & Juice, it is very good. It still wasn’t on the menu last time we went, but ask for it. The drinks are pricey, but they have offered GrabOne deals, 3 for € 12, and they sometimes have dinner deals with GrabOne as well. The menu has a good variety, burgers, chicken, pasta, beef, platters, early bird, lunch specials, we’ve found a few to our liking. It can get crowded for dinner, so make a reservation if you don’t get there early.

Went here for a «quick» bite for lunch recently and ordered their lunch special which is quite good value(includes a main dish, chips, soup and drink for € 9.90). The main dish i chose was a simple toasted ham and cheese sandwich but my lunch took 55 minutes to arrive. In this time not once did a member of staff acknowledge us, so we had to approach them to see if they had forgotten about the food. When the food did eventually arrived, my toastie was burnt and the soup wasn’t great. The waitress gave a quick apology without any sincerity and she seemed very rude. The chips however were very nice and the waiter was sincerely apologising when we went up to pay(again, no member of staff approached us once so we had to get up to pay). Thank god I wasn’t on my lunch break or I would have had to leave before the food arrived! I will avoid for lunch in the future!

It’s nice to be nice, but better to be efficient and capable too. 4 of us came for a post work bite to eat and a few cocktails, taking advantage of the early bird menu of 2 courses for € 15.95. Food was grand, and there was plenty of it, but 45 minutes between courses is not exactly acceptable. Our primary waiter(of the 3, yes 3!) who came to us over the evening was kind enough to let us know cocktails were 2 for 1 before 7, so we decided that would trump Desperado on tap any day and ordered a round, 20 minutes later they arrived, and 5 minutes later they had been drunk, next round, 45 minute wait and the final round — 1 hour and 10 minutes!!! We had also requested the bill at the time of ordering but it took a further 15 minutes and requesting same from 2 different staff members before it showed up. The manager dropped it to us and I mentioned the unacceptable wait, to which he replied«I’m sorry, we are very busy and understaffed». This would be a management fail if it were true, but there were 5 wait staff and about 10 occupied tables! We aren’t blind or stupid Mr Manager, please don’t treat us as such! I won’t say I will never return, cocktails are tasty and stronger than most places, but really the service needs a total overhaul here if they want return customers and not just thirsty tourists.

The service was AWFUL. The waitress screwed up every single order and instead of fixing it she made it sound like it was us that messed up the order. They were not even busy We ordered 2 x double dark rum and coke, we got white bacardi rum. We ordered 1 seafood chowder and 1 portion of ribs and 2x fries. We got 2x seafood chowder(we sent one back and got the ribs) and then we got 1x fries and at this point we didn’t even bother trying to get them to fix it anymore and the staw I asked for never came either. The only reason I’m giving it two starts is because the food was actually really good.

Got a 3 drink special on . The drinks are a bit pricey 10.50 each. If it wasn’t for the coupon I would’ve had one drink and ran. Ended up ordering dinner we had three pasta dishes that were very very good and reasonably priced. Also had the short ribs for two and we must have had 15 ribs in the bowl. It’s not bad for a snack and a drink. Or dinner and a drink. But I could not afford to seriously drink here. Staff was very pleasant on both our visits

It’s funny that the owners market this as a Manhattan-style bar since it sure looks like an Irish pub to me albeit a bit more polished and urban than the usual neighborhood watering hole. Truth be told, I had very low expectations on what kind of lunch I would get here. It was on a main pedestrian thoroughfare right off Grafton Street next to the mammoth-for-no-reason Stephens Green Shopping Centre. Most of the more interesting eateries in the immediate area were closed until dinner, so I decided to give it a shot despite the lackluster Unilocal reviews I read on the app. I had my immediate doubts when a waitress at the doorway was speaking in her native tongue to a persistent male friend of hers and consequently ignored seating me. Being the truly passive-aggressive American that I am, I just gave her a case of small-mouth, walked in with self-assurance and sat myself at a bulky table near the bar. The express lunch menu is small but serviceable, and while I would have ordered a chicken Caesar salad in a similar setting back home, I went for the € 7.50 Traditional Homemade Irish Stew since I don’t think I’ve ever had one before. Delicious and much lighter than I expected, soupy in fact, but I preferred it that way since it was really the chunks of tender lamb that I was after on that brisk day in Dublin. There was a big scoop of spring onion mash on top that proved to be rib-sticking good(see photo). Unlike several other Unilocalers, other than the first waitress, I found the service extremely cordial and attentive like you hope Irish people will be. Good to know that true, lighter-fare dining options are available in the tourist zone. By the way, their restrooms are quite clean, a blessing after a long ride on the Luas Green Line. FOOD — 4 stars… a fine, lighter-than-expected Irish stew to satisfy your Gaelic gastronomic needs AMBIANCE — 3 stars… a lot of wood and cocktails SERVICE — 4 stars… sharp wait staff once you sit down TOTAL — 4 stars… Harry is a good guy
