Standard Caffè Nero but definitely bigger and better looking than most of their branches in Dublin. The coffee itself is quite average and I usually go for one of their other options, but I like the décor of this place and it’s great to come here over the weekends and chill with a book or get some work done. My favourite thing about here are the endless power sockets!

Very good coffee, moderate price, amazing croissants and cakes! Try the new lemon tart! Yummy!

Café Nero has been a really welcome addition to the IFSC. Yes, there are loads of coffee options around here but the night bright airy décor, friendly staff, quick service and stacked book shelves make this a lovely spot to while away a lunch hour. Tasty paninis and soup and the coffee’s good, too. I’m a fan!

Not good! Starting with a positive though, the premises itself is quite nice. Spacious, comfortable, lots of outdoor seating. Some nice pictures on the walls of Italian life and people. Fundamentally however, a coffee house is judged on its coffee and it is not good. In fact, it was awful. The worst Cappuccino I’ve ever tasted. Associating this with Italian Coffee must be a form of blasphemy or whatever the equivalent is of taking coffee’s name in vain! While drinking it I was thinking, it can’t be this bad!, maybe I just got a dodgy cup! But at € 3.25 a cup it’s completely unacceptable and with so many other options in the area they won’t be getting a second chance. I’m afraid it’s one strike and your out for Café Nero!

I loves me some Caffè Nero. I think along with Costa, they do the best coffee of any of the big brands that are currently on the go. Unlike Costa, I prefer the décor of Nero. Lots of dark browns, greys and most importantly, power sockets haha. It’s easy to pass an hour or more cradling a coffee, on your tablet with a few decent chunes on in the background, surrounded by pictures of Rome. It’s maybe the next best thing to being there. A distant second mind haha.

Spacious and comfy, this Nero location has much better opening hours than almost all the other similar businesses in this area, making it very attractive and a welcome addition. Especially during the weekend, this is probably the safest bet if you want to grab some coffee or just sit for a while without being in a hurry for fear of being thrown out. Coffee in its simplest form — espresso or even americano– is quite average, but there’s a lot of other drink and food options. The interior is very spacious and inviting, with earthy tones, cushions and sofas, suited to make you stay for a while reading or working — there are plenty of power sockets by the tables. The seating outside is very cute and enjoyable, with dark and tan rattan furniture.
