Really good falafel burger. As a vegetarian I am always super happy to get a veggie burger and Bobo’s offers more than one choice, plus a big range of sauces! My only small issue(this might be specific to the Wexford Street one) was the not too comfy seating and the fact that a sizeable burger and fries would be better served on a bigger plate. Overall I’d happily be back, not least for the friendly service and freshly squeezed orange juice.

A great lunch spot as it’s usually empty and there are good deals on burgers + chips. But you’d wanna avoid it any time later on as it’ll get busy and service will slow down. Also you’ll be likely be sitting uncomfortably close to a pack of dumb drunks who harass the waitress between bouts of fantasy football talk. There are a huge selection of burgers but they’re all slight variations of each other really and you’ll probably end up ordering the bacon cheeseburger. I like the burgers but wouldn’t really put them above places like GBK, the Counter or Bunsen. Still, not a bad spot if you can get there during their quieter lunch period! The Wexford Street location is much better than the Dame Street one too!

Bobo offers a variety of burgers, sides and some salads. I tried just burgers here. Personally I think the meat is good and very juice. I was surprised with the quality of the meat. But damn, these buns… it’s like this very blank tasteless buns you can buy at any cheap grocery store. They work when you are 16 and it is the first burger you ever make to impress your first boyfriend, but for the restaurant this buns are just NO. I think if they worked on their buns it would already out them at another level. Place itself is super small and I think the mixture of smells and hot temperature doesn’t make it the most pleasant environment to have dinner at. Thus 3 stars.

Delicious! Bobos is one of my favourite burger joints in Dublin City and never fails to disappoint. A plus side is the fact that you can see the staff prepare and cook the food from the seating area. Price is reasonable, I would say it averages out at around 12 euros for a meal with small drink. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Was expecting so much more! Nothing special about this place whatsoever my local chipper would have been more satisfying. Burger was tasteless and dry, I didn’t even eat half. The service was friendly but was filled with drunks(ok, I know its on Camden St and it was Friday at 9pm). I dnt know why but i expected a lot more anyway i wont ever return.

Been here 3 times before — food is not too bad with some good burgers, paired with a nice beer selection. Of the bobos locations in Dublin this one is one of the smaller ones — and I have always found their service to be of a lower standard than the Dame Street location. Tonight though we walked out, after arriving at around 9:50pm, seated ourselves, while the server was cleaning the floor. She then asked us if we would mind moving to a different table so she could clean the floor underneath the one we initial sat at. We obliged and she continued to mop the floor while we read the menu. At precisely 10pm she came to take our order and when I asked about their burger special(advertised on the board outside on the sidewalk) she shook her head and announced that she is unable to put an order through for the special as it «had just turned 10». We were in your restaurant before 10 and you were mopping the floor, so that just tops poor dismissive service, even by Dublin’s sometimes wanting standards. Perhaps this particular server can will find McDonalds a more suitable place of employment as she managed to take the special off the menu faster than McDonalds make their breakfast disappear at 10am. Suffice it to say, choose the Dame Street location over this one, or else visit the excellent Bunsen Burger a few doors down — this location does not want your custom.

La mejor hamburguesa de Dublín. Hecha en el momento. Sabrosa. Precio razonable. Por demás de buena. Local chico pero atención esmerada.

I must have walked past this place a hundred times without noticing it. The location is rather small and easy to miss, but I’m really glad a friend took me here because the food is fantastic. The burgers are massive and delicious. They were super busy the night we were there and even though other reviewers had bad service ours was really good. It took a while to get seated due to how busy they were but once we were the watress was friendly and helpful, brought everything as it was done, and did a nice job. Oh, and in case you didn’t catch it the first time, the food is damn good.

They have a deal: 10 € a Burger with fries and drink. The burger is just good and the chicken wings average. However considering the location is a nice place.

Went for the Little Miss Piggy in here the other day, to be in line with the day of eating and drinking I’d had thus far. As many have said before, it’s a HUGE burger. But really disappointingly dry. I took it out of the bun and ate it with my salad instead(something I would normally be vehemently against!), but it was the only way. The salad itself was rocket, parmesan and pine nuts, and came to SIXEURO. A bit much for a side?! Now don’t get me wrong, it was huge, but for something with such basic ingredients, I’d be expecting a more reasonable 4 euro-ish. Overall, the meal was average. The big sizes seem to be solely so that they can charge more, rather than put more thought into the taste of the ingredients.

only went here as Bunsen up the road had a gammy hand written sign in the window that they were closing at 7.45 pm as it was 7.15 didnt really fancy indigestion but really wanted a burger so went to Bobos up the road. 1st impressions is the place is small, not a load of people in so didnt mind but if it was busy you would literally be sitting on someones lap. Mainly a burger spot but the do wings fries etc. I went for the emancipator! burger which I know sounds more like an evil transformer character, with fries and a coke and here is where my meal went downhill. The«FRIES» although were plentiful were frozen chips out of a bag, I dont have a problem with frozen fries but if your going to all that effort to do gourmet burgers etc would hand cut fries be a huge ask? the burger was enormous but not amazing!, it came with onion rings on it which were soggy, the burger itself was nice enough but not amazing, the bun was enormous but i felt like it was that big to be theatrical more than anything. Now here is my major gripe… the wings… absolutely awful! they were microwaved soggy and just swimming in FRANKS hot sauce hey were miserable and to be honest disgusting… my other gripe is massive burger… check…massive fries portion… check… «can i get a coke please»…then they drop down a 200ml glass bottle of Coke… I hate these things. seriously at € 2.80 a bottle you literally get 2 sips out of one before you would need another… their beer selection is fine… all in all BOBOs is one expensive ass place, the food is just ok(the wings are terrible), and its way too expensive for what you get… If you want a burger but not a frozen one head to ANY other burger joint because this place will piss you off

In general I like Bóbós. Just not this Bóbós. I would suggest you go to the one on Dame street for a better all round experience. Firstly the tables are for 2 people(obviously you can pull them together for larger groups) but a table is not big enough for 2 plates, 1 side &2 drinks. Secondly although the place seemed what I would consider to be fairly quiet, the service was unbelievably slow, with the waitress stopping to clean empty tables while we were waiting 15 minutes to order. The selection of drinks wasn’t great, with the waitress advising that their beer on tap wasn’t great(which we did appreciate). The food was delicious. & it is reasonably priced given the quality of the food. Just not keen on the restaurant itself. Dame street is #1 for me!

I really love bobos, they make truly great burgers. Nice selection of burgers to choose from too although I tried them all now so some change would be nice. There side are good too, lovely fries skinny or chubby(with a dash if rosemary which is a nice touch). They also do wings not the best in Dublin but their pretty solid If you want some of the finest burgers in Dublin this is a must!

Oh boy, this is one of my favorite home made kinda burgers place in Dublin. Don’t judge me, because I don’t know them all :-) Major advantage and this is why I am giving here five stars — you can buy beer! There’s nothing better that spicy burger and a cold bottle of beer. They have small, but compact high seat tables. Which I like more than regular McDonalds or Burger King style. Burgers cost around € 10(± € 1). They also do other types of fast food, but I always order burgers, because of their deliciousness :-)

Definitiv empfehlenswert.

Came here with a GrabOne coupon. Service is really friendly and attentive in that they are always around. I loved the layout inside, ‘a lot better than Eddie Rockets’(across the street) as my friend said. Also a cute layout of a field with plastic cows in it when you first walk in. I got the Ranelagh and the falafel was so dry that it was difficult to eat(everything fell apart). My friend got the Spicy Sausage and really liked it. We also go the Onion Rings which were okay(could have used more reading) and the chips with three dips which were fantastic because I love aioli(garlic mayo). There was also curry sauce and sweet chili sauce(I think?). We also both got chocolate milkshakes which were perfect – sometimes you get them and there is not enough chocolate and that was not the case here!

Bobo’s is a great burger place. I’ll admit the actual tables are tiny, the place is tiny and not exactly modern. However the staff are friendly and the burgers are great. The Conn burger is my favourite. But the other burgers look great too. The chips are also great with the chilli chips making a great addition to the meal. If you are veggie /fishy person they do a fish finger burger and a veggie burger of some sort. The shakes are made in front of you and like the rest of the food are dirty in the extreme. But if you are taking a break from being healthy this is a great place to go to. In fact I think I may have to book in soon…

I can see why people have mixed feelings about this place. A classic«good food, bad surroundings» situation. As good as our food was, the grubby surrounding sort of took the shine off the meal. But back to the important stuff: that food. The burger menu is extensive, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into it. I went for the«Colm», a beef burger with guacamole, black pepper and bacon. My partner-in-crime went for a the«Applewood», beef with applewood cheese(duh), apple relish and bacon. This is how burgers are meant to be made, with proper high quality mince. Very tender and juicy, it wasn’t so much of a patty as just a pile of mince that had found itself stuffed into a burger bun. The accompanying onion rings were nice, if a little greasy. As plates and glasses started to crowd the table, I did get a little worried about whether our battered table could handle it. It rocked, it swayed, at one point I’m pretty sure it swooned. I’d ignore this as an unlucky choice of table, but the entire place had a similar ramshackle feel to it. A real pity, since a bit of paint and some polishing could make Bóbós really special.

Oh god, I was hungover and had been in work all day(on a Saturday). I was losing the will to live by the time I got out of there… sigh So I needed a great big durty burger to sort myself out. I was in the Camden street and Wexford street area, so I thought carefully for a few minutes before deciding where to find said burger(there are a fair amount of places that offer one or more burgers around here). I’d not been here in a good while so I decided to patronise Bóbós. I got the Cheese Burger with all the optionals, except the tomato. OMG it was just what I needed. It was so tasty and the beef cooked perfectly. I also got a chocolate milkshake to wash it down with. I was alive again!!! Staff where friendly and smiley. Helpful too. The music however was the only negative, bubblegum pop dance. Which was not to my tastes.

Having heard so many great thing’s about Bóbós– I couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed form my first meal there. Sure you do get a good burger and the fries are pretty good but in an age where every restaurant and their mother are re inventing burgers, I couldn’t help but feel the burger was pretty average. They have some heavy competition on the street as well with Bunsen within 100 yards. The restaurant didn’t feel very comfortable(almost cramped). The staff were super nice which was great. I also did like that they offered a Lunch Time Special(a meal for € 10).Overall it was good but not great. I would go back but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
