Barratts is one of those shops that lures you in full of promises every time you walk past, but seldom offers up anything worth a second glance once you’re actually in there. This branch on Henry Street is particularly uninspiring. The shop is long and narrow, and despite their best efforts, whatever way the shoes are displayed only serves to make them look even more dull. That said, myself and my mother both bought a pair of leather boots in here in the January sales last year, which I found last week at the back of the wardrobe after their long summer break, and have been wearing constantly since. There are a few gems to be found, though it requires persistence and patience to find them. If you’re a fan of gold or glittery platform stilettos, there’s plenty of shoes here for you.

just had an atrocious experience with this store bought a pair of shoes here that were in my size that began quite literally cutting the skin off the back of my feet when i tried to return or exchange them the staff were incredibly unhelpful and refused to accomodate me in any way even though i had the receipt so i am now left with an 80 euro pair of shoes i can’t wear without slowly torturing myself! please take my advice and give this place a wide berth, spend your money somewhere that has some sort of we give a crap about you after you give us your money attitude because this place sure doesn’t.
