Good food, nice staff and nice atmosphere. Prices are also reasonable. The only problem I have with this place, is their short opening hours. Would be nice if they were open in the evening, too.

Wonderful spot on this side of Grand Canal. Tucked in an unassuming area of Ringsend, this is the perfect spot for coffee or lunch if you’d like a break from the sterile atmosphere of the financial/tech district. The farmhouse vibe enhances the dining experience, so I would suggest dining in. Full espresso bar & fresh pastries make for a great morning macchiato.

Right after walking in. We were greeted by super nice staff, who seated us at a table for two. The place is small, cozy but has a very homey feel, welcoming and charming. We were presented the menu but recommended the offer of the day, which we preferred. Dublin coddle for Sunday brunch is more than satisfying, with plenty of meat and tasty sausage in it. The Veggie Burger looks and tastes awesome. Roasted Turkey and Smoked Cheese with toasts is heaven on earth. The coffee is also excellent, just make sure to tell staff you prefer cappuccino without chocolate on top, that is, if you do. Prices are very friendly. This is highly recommended for brunch, just don’t swarm in en masse people, as we want to become regulars here and actually prefer to find a free table.

Another nice lunch option in the Ringsend area. The set up is really lovely, the staff is friendly and the menu is just a little bit different to the rest of the cafes in the area. Great start. So I went there on my lunch break recently and tried the huevos rancheros. I was a bit disappointed when they were served, the wrap was so dry it crumbled when the fork touched it so that’s one way of going low carb. My colleague had the broth which was the much MUCH better choice. They really shouldn’t call it broth cause simple folk like me will think I get a watery miso soup-kinda thing in a big bowl and that is not what I want for my lunch. We both had tea so I can’t comment on the quality of coffee but I will be back and try the coffee AND that broth myself.

I really wanted to write a raving review about this place because it’s a lovely little set-up, but I have to say my veg sandwich left a little to be desired. Firstly, it took ages to come out and when it did arrive it looked pretty haphazardly thrown together and the«side salad» was a pile of plain, undressed leaves. However, my dissatisfaction with said sandwich was probably multiplied thrice-fold by the fact that I had the worst food envy, ever. How was it that every other single person around me seemed to have the common sense to order the broth? Broth in my mind is some watery, foamy soup, but oh no no no –not this broth. This broth looked more like a big smug serving of heart-warming chowder; wafting with amazing aromas, full of goodness, and bursting with general brothy joy. It was pretty much everything I wanted my sandwich to be. As such, my lunchtime recommendation would be to go for the broth. FORTHELOVEOFGODGOFORTHEBROTH. Also, kids eat here for 30% off! If I had kids, I’m sure I’d appreciate that.

Welcomed by friendly and warm waitress. Popped in for a coffee but couldn’t resist the french toast on the menu. Coffee and french toast were delicious and a real treat. Waitress continued to provide great service with a bit of banter. Décor is inviting and comfortable with some nice prints and pictures on the walls. Overall, a great experience which cheered up a dull January day

It was my birthday; wifey says«Lets try the new place down the road» I say this is s good idea, I am picturing bacon — birthday bacon, all crispy and lovely and plentiful. We wander in and are greeted with a very rustic décor, all rough hewn wood and spartan, it’s something lots try to do but so few pull off; this place manages it easily, it looks… well… cool. The breakfast menu is small, there is french toast, homemade beans on toast and a few other things. Nowhere, not once does it mention bacon. We order coffee, the french toast with honey(AAARRRGGGHHH, not even maple syrup!!) and the beans. At this stage all I can hope for is that the menu has a typo… they forgot to mention that the french toast comes with half a pig, cut into strips and fried… its an easy thing to forget… isn’t it? The food arrives and try as I might, I see no bacon… I looked under the french toast, twice. but being a grownup I don’t cry or throw a tantrum(tears quietly fall down my cheeks, birthday already in tatters). I drain my very good coffee just to make sure there isn’t a slice quietly sitting in the bottom of my cup… still nothing. So, on to the french toast and beans on toast… might as well see what they are like then, my expectations were not high at this stage, I just wanted to get it over with. WOW… seriously wow, bacon be dammed, the french toast, served with an almost completely transparent honey was spectacular… not just good, frikkin amazing, I almost completely forgot about the lack of bacon(almost). The beans were likewise exceptional — home made and very tasty with bits of chorizo. This place is new and I presume the menu will grow, it is unquestionably worth a visit and I predict this will become a place with queues out the door quickly. Go, try and enjoy — and don’t worry about the lack of bacon!
