SuperValu

It’s fine, I guess. Cheaper than the Superquinn it replaced, but the vegetables are so unreliable. I end up driving a little farther to Tesco these days, because I’m rarely sure that SuperValu will have everything in stock.
But for a few quick items it’s fine.

I MISS SUPERQUINN!!!
OK so this place used to be Superquinn and I am still seeing my Therapist over the closure of Superquinn and SuperValu taking over.
Superquinn sausages are not the same since the take over. I don’t care what anyone says. They ARE NOT THE SAME.
So sausages aside I used to love the bread from here. That again is something that is totally different. The coleslaw is not as nice anymore too.
As small supermarkets go this place is grand. They have pretty good offers on veg and fruit most of the time and the quality is pretty good for the price you pay.
Fresh meat and fish counter is pretty good for the size of the place and the off license has a fairly substantial selection of craft beers and wines so all in all it is better than average.
BRING BACK SUPERQUINN!!!

Usually when I need something quick and easy, I pop into Superquinn. This location does not have a huge selection, but with saying that if you’re not going for a full shop it has a decent selection. My experience wasn’t so pleasant yesterday. I went in to pick up a few bits for dinner and didn’t realise that the veggies that I had purchased (at full price) had expired on 6÷12÷2013 and I bought them on 8÷12÷2013. I would go ahead and say they are not on top of their inventory. Not very impressed. I think I might be going elsewhere next time.

Best supermarket in the Ashtown-​Phoenix Race Course area. Excellent cheese selection, not the cheapest daily commodities though. ATM, bakery, deli, flowers, free car park.

Great little supermarket, has all I need. Se great bargains from time to time. A fantastic cheese selection and a simple bakery. I love this Superquinn. Nicest one I’ve been in.
