Enjoyed a delicious late night dinner here last night. A friend and I shared several items and we’re both foodies but we had no complaints!
The mori hachi salad provided a bit of greenery, the tuna sashimi, 15% off, was five slices of perfectly tender raw fish, the karaage was nice and crispy (just wish there’d been more), pork belly was juicy and we grilled it up to perfection, and the ox tongue fried rice was really a treat. All washed down with 500ml of half-​price Asahi on draft and we were leaving happy.
Décor is nice, especially for a place with no windows. They definitely invested some energy in emulating a Japanese Korean fusion vibe to match the food. It’s freezing cold inside but they did turn the temp up a bit when I asked, and even gave me a jacket to borrow.
Come for the late-​night discounts and you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t all come at once! The place was kinda empty and I liked it that way. I was even hesitant to add it to Unilocal & review it. But others should be able to try it too. Enjoy!
