I stayed at Gloucester last year, and never left a review even though my stay was great. I booked another visit to Hong Kong and am staying here again. They gave me a free upgrade and I figured I could return the favor by leaving them a good (and honest) review. Their rooms are large for Hong Kong, and very clean and new. The staff is great and helped me find local foods. Location is in the heart of downtown as well as near the Causeway Bay MTR. the best thing about the hotel however is the view. Outstanding.

I travel to Hong Kong every year, sometimes twice and usually stay on Kowloon side. This year I saw a great price for Gloucester Hotel so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s a small boutique hotel near Causeway Bay/​Central area. My first impression is that the rooms are big for this part of town, and the view is amazing. I also like how it’s very close to a lot of areas, and only a few blocks from the subway. That being said, it happens to be on a street that isn’t too noisy so it’s a pretty good compromise. Rooms are very clean, and the hotel seems to be new. Staff was friendly as well. You get a better deal booking online. This will be my new spot when I stay in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is all about location, location, location! Less than 10 mins walk to the train station. Wonderful yoga studio walking distance called Pure. Great service! Friendly and helpful staff. Boutique hotel with breakfast! After much research. Such a great hotel find through tripadvisor!

What a gem! I can’t believe I’m the first to review this place on Unilocal (maybe Unilocal is still new in Hong Kong??)
Found this place from the top reviews for hotels in Causeway Bay on Trip Advisor that was in my price range. The view is breathtaking! I was not expecting such a great view and incredible service from hotels in my price range. Usually, I stay at one of those big box chain hotels but I’m so glad those were all over my price range during this visit because I was able to then find this place. The Japanese restaurant next door, Oku, was also very delicious! The location is so convenient. I will definitely stay at Gloucester Hotel when I come back to Hong Kong.
