View’s the best in LKF. Restaurants at early evenings and club at late night. Or perfect place for casual tea events /gatherings on the lower floor. By the way, just forget about the tiny balcony. It is nowadays a place just for people to get a smoke, which is quite awful(or convenient, depends on if you are a smoker). On weekends, they’ll occasionally open the actual rooftop, which is the catch. Under a perfect weather, you can have the open view of LKF/Central. Why the 4 stars though? You’d ask. Well, that’s those two things that is memorably bad. The queue of paying your drinks. Yes, you’d think ordering your drinks take long enough. Paying cash waiting for the change or credit card waiting for the signing would take double the time. That problem lasts years now and I won’t forget. Pay the exact amount or whatever change you are happy to leave as the tips. Another thing that deducts half a star here. The DJ is plain horrible. It was always that one DJ that ruins the whole thing. Plays a song everyone likes, for, well, less than a min, then absurdly cuts into another song, plays for a min, cuts into another song, plays for a min… and so on. You can never catch a beat to dance or enjoy the music. It’s like flipping through 200TV channels in 5 mins. Hope they have moved on to a better DJ next time I’m there.

Food is ok. Go there more for the place than the food: the decoration inside is modern & stylish and the outside terrace is a must see!(amazing view on HK& Lan Kwai Fong)

I can’t say I’m impressed. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but the service and quality failed to deliver. It was my last day in HK and I wanted to grab a drink with my darker over a nice skyline view. The view was great, but the waiter almost hesitated to seat us and measly pointed at a couple of tables that were without settings where we could sit at. My dad ordered a coffee, it came almost half full. By HK standards, if I’m paying for $ 50 i expect it to be full. I ordered a prosecco and it came as expected. We also ordered French fries which came out pipping hot. We did not have utensils or napkins, so I asked for some. The waiter brought out some paper napkins, wrinkled from water stains. Gross. I then asked for water, twice and it never came. So I ended up going to the bar to get some water myself. The waiters really didn’t care to service us. In the bathroom, the toilet seat had water stains on it. An ugly mop was laying around in plain view. I’d say not so much for this place… Pass!

Most people, who claim that they have been to the roof at Azure turn out being disappointed. Well, to be honest, I felt the same for the first time. I was like«So, this is the so-called roof?» However, I realize that the one most people(including me) have been is the terrace located on the 30/F but not the actual roof! The roof is actually one floor above, where you needa take the stairs beside the bathroom. Now, for those who haven’t been to the«real» roof, you will have to pay another visit to Azure and enjoy the vibrant city skyline while choosing from Azure’s wide selection of wines and cocktails. Their restaurant on 29/F is as good as the roof. I had their celebratory dinner menu recently. This 4-course menu features a variety of ingredients from sea to land, starting with an appetizing scallop ceviche and an interesting apple soup to a choice of main, including carnivore(Mmm. US Tenderloin) and vegetarian(Quinoa, roasted veg, walnut and Greek yogurt) options and last but not least, a sweet-enticement ending. Fresh Hokkaido scallops with a zesty touch, what’s not to love? Apple soup was nothing heavy but fresh and effervescent, which serves as a healthy counter balance of what came next. For the main, i picked the US Tenderloin with linguine tree, roasted endives & green pepper jus, tenderness ticked, beefy flavor, however was absent. Good thing was the tad of bitterness from the endive and the green pepper jus(gravy) made up for that with a brisk kick of flavour. I specially like the dessert as this sweet finale was just the right fix of smooth and bubbly indulgence. I’m quite sure this lovely pink composition can easily steal every girl’s heart and c’mon it’s macaroon, who can say no to it? This foamy and airy strawberry delight certainly drew a beautiful end to my meal.

I am 100% sure whoever goes out in Lan Kwai Fong must have gone to Azure before. So what is so famous about this place other than the fact that it has won several awards before? Not only that, it is to date the tallest building in Lan Kwai Fong and the fact that it is located on the top floor gives you a spectacular view of the vibrant city skyline. Trust me, even though you are at the top, you can still hear the people cheering and crowds singing to the music. That’s how crazy LKF is. Unfortunately I have never come to try the food here as whenever I come here it is the party scene so it is packed and super difficult to take pictures without anyone blocking the view. So I will leave others to review the food. However, for me, I am sure you will love this place once you accent the top level and see the magnificent stair which allows you to walk past a bar section and onto the dance floor; just walk straight and you will find the outdoor place where you can take pictures and chat with your new friends in front of Hong Kong most acclaimed skyline. There is no entrance fee but you will be expected to buy at least a drink before getting in.
