We sat outside, at the Neude, in the springtime sunshine, which was awesome. But ok, nobody can control the weather and sunshine makes everything more appealing, so I’ll be fair ;)
We sat at a cute bar stool table. Taking a look at the menu, I was actually happy that it was small and minimalist in choice. Just a couple buns and salads. So my friend and I were less prone to stress over our choice of lunch. Of course, one of us still did, and debated over carpaccio or goat cheese. The goat cheese bun won.
I ordered the whole grain bun with salmon. Both sandwiches were very nice and we had a great time. The salmon was very good too, not too «fishy» but just right. A little bit of cream and some lettuce. Just a tad of sauce. Perfection. Just right. Good work!
The PIN machine was broken down so I had to run for cash, but thankfully, the ATM was close by. So not a problem. Personnel was not overly friendly, but polite anyway. I liked the place and would certainly visit them again. Preferable in the sunshine!
