Newly opened Indian/​Nepalese restaurant in Utrecht. We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival and got our table upstairs. Right away I noticed beautiful and modern decoration in the entire restaurant. They added some traditional Indian and Nepalese touches, but overall it was very modern and clean looking.
Downstairs you have the tables and cocktail bar, upstairs it’s more like a lounge with comfortable seats and pillows.
I ordered butter chicken, which was very delicious! The rice served with it was very fluffy and the sauce was creamy and mild. The meat was cooked perfectly, it was soft and tender. My friend had chicken tandoori and said it was quite dry. The flavors were good, but the meat was overcooked.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was calming and relaxed, but I feel like some places still lacked some decoration or light (maybe they are still arranging it since it’s new). Hopefully they will fix that soon, because overall I was very impressed. I will definitely be going there again.
