Ludwig Coffee Bar

I had breakfast here during my stay in Utrecht. They are a café in the middle of the university quarter, but as I visited it quite early, before 9 AM, the place was empty except for one other person working on a laptop. They have free wifi that is password-​protected, just ask what the password is from the lovely staff behind the counter.
They have various baked goods, and several nice paninis that are warmed quite nicely. They also have ample plugs for your laptops. The music is more indie but not obtrusive, so I can see this as a perfect place to park oneself and work for a few hours if one were a student here.
And yes, there are wide open windows that allow you to see the world pass by, or as I did, take shelter from the rain watching the people not having an umbrella get soaking wet while I dry myself from my own wetness.
