Who can resist ice coffee in this lovely, warm and sunny weather? I know I can’t!
I was lured into Doppio with the promise of a tiramisu flavoured ice cold but once I was in I was seduced by the iced salted caramel macchiatto. Yes folks: salted. caramel. macchiatto. Need I really say more? No, I really don’t. But I will.
The iced coffee was delicious. Not quite sure I really got the taste of salted caramel, but it was delicious nonetheless. Le boyfriend had a strawberry mango smoothie (I hate mango) which also was delicious and very refreshing.
The café itself is quite small but with the way it’s been furnished still seems quite spacious and the cute little window seats outside are great for enjoying this kind of weather. Their espresso is always great and they have a great variety of delicious treats to pair with your beverage. Too bad we were on our way to Food Truck Festival Trek, so we didn’t try any of these yummy treats. However, there will definitely be a next time so treats: until we meet again…
