Très bonne adresse à Rotterdam.
Le service est très courtois, on se sent bien accueillis.
La carte propose de nombreux petits déjeuners jusqu’à 11h. Les produits sont frais et finement cuisinés.
Idéal pour prendre des forces avant d’explorer la ville!

They serve good quality food with very casual sort of setting, as the name shows.
It’s good for a Sunday easy morning out, but can’t expect more than that.
Tables are so close each other, and severs keep bumping to my chair.
But I could experience clean food.

Fabulous dishes, Nice atmosphere ! I’ll be most defiantly back! Super Strong and good espresso (with no cookie) if you have walnut allergy be carful from the bread (almost got my boyfriend even though we made sure they know about his allergy)

Nice staff, pretty décor and really good food. Super sweet place! Can recommend visiting and makes a welcome change to all the bar and pub type food places in Utrecht.

Good breakfast. Nice vibe. Butter is good, as is the coffee. Well made scrambled eggs. Nice outdoor area that is pretty kid friendly.

Super fresh, organic food. Great food served on wooden platters, freshly squeezed juices and friendly staff.

Popular spot for locals. Don’t be afraid to share the picnic bench with others. The people are friendly and worth chatting with. Food is served on a cutting board. Interesting setup. bathroom tip if you are looking for it I is hidden on the left side when entering the building.

Oh man. That was delicious.
Walked here from the train station for some caffeine and a bite to eat before exploring the city a bit more. The latte and iced coffee my friend and I ordered were great, but the food is what makes this place worth going to. The kitchen is part-​bakery, so something with bread was unavoidable. I ordered the roasted chicken sandwich with a bacon-​onion crumble, avocado, and curry mayo. It came on toasted fresh glorious soft/​crunchy bread. You could say it was slightly heavy-​handed on the mayo, but that’s just me looking for a flaw in an otherwise perfect sandwich. My friend ordered the sausage roll which is an adult ‘pig in a blanket’ and a scone hot out of the oven, both served with a brush of apropos condiments. They disappeared as quick as my sandwich.
Everything else on the menu looks great, too. Wish I was going to be here for another meal. Jealous of those apartments across the street for having access to this place.

For that breakfast lunch grunche chique experience this place can’t be besten relaxed tasty endulgent. Even an Australian can find his «brekkie» here.

Firstly thanks Unilocal for never failing to deliver great suggestions and secondly what an awesome place to start our little Rotterdam getaway! Thoroughly enjoyed Picknicks’ vibe with its cool laid back décor inside and outside patio. We shared the sausage roll with homemade ketchup ummm YUMMMM! and then also had the pulled pork which was delicious and lighter than the American version as well as the burrata with pumpkin and sourdough bread. Sooo tasty! Must have again. Definite worthy of another visit next time we’re back in the city!

Great healthy Breakfast!

Great brunch spot in Rotterdam right near the Rotterdam Blaak Metro Station. I had a fantastic meal on Easter Sunday in this quaint nondescript restaurant. As per the name, of course there are picnic tables both inside and on the outside patio (which was closed on this day). The service staff was very nice and friendly and they had an English menu, which is always a plus!
On to the food. It was really good. I had a Croquette Monsieur which is a PERFECTLY toasted bacon and cheese sandwich. I can’t tell you what type of cheese they used, but I can tell you that it was MAGNIFICENT! The bacon is not served as it is in the States, as to say it’s not fried to a crunch. They retain some fat in the frying, and I have to say this was the best bacon I’ve had while in Europe. I also got a sausage roll which was homemade sausage in a pretzel roll. It was pretty good, not as memorable as the sandwich tho. Both dishes were served with a homemade ketchup — a welcomed difference than the slabs of mayo served elsewhere throughout the Netherlands. Dessert was an Oreo brownie and it was super rich and chocolately!

What a lovely place for breakfast, brunch or a quick bite in the afternoon. Coffee here is great, and the sweets menu as well. The place is quite spacious, and besides the traditional tables and counter it also has a big table right in front of the kitchen where you can just sit and feel like you’re having a great coffee at home.
Everything is made by them with organic, seasonal ingredients — mostly sourced locally. That’s definitely a plus, huh?
Staff is super friendly and willing to help you pick the best coffee/​baked treats for your own taste. This café is only a short walk away from Markthal (less than 5min), so if you’re visiting Rotterdam’s new hype place be sure to also step by Picknick.

Urban chic and improvised cute furniture. Little café with little tables and cosy charming style. Breakfast all day long and delicious sandwiches.

Awesome place! Love their breakfast. Coffee could be a bit larger but everything tastes delicious. Love the acai bowl.

New menu, they scrapped my favourite so I had high expectations (to make up for it). Since then I’ve had the pulled pork, meatloaf (lamb) and salmon platters. As usual it is brilliantly made with attention to detail and taste. I love the layers of flavour, colour and attention to detail. As usual service is friendly and dedicated! I was disappointed with the scraps on the menu but I LOVE the new additions.

Brunch. Glorious. Stunning coffee, made with love and an always changing selection of tasty and well made plates. Eggs with truffle, bacon and mushrooms is what I generally go for, but they have home made sausage rolls with home made ketchup, fresh soup is always close, and if you want a serious meal, just order the platter for two: a feast unto itself. They also craft their own ‘snickers’ bars: quirky and wonderful sweets are always to be found here.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Rotterdam. I have been living as an expat for quite some years now and have became a regular tin this place.
What I really enjoy is that it feels like you are in the kitchen of a farmhouse. Staff is very friendly and accommodative to your requests and they seem to always manage to serve you in a timely manner despite the fact that they are place is usually super busy.
I would recommend the full platter for two even if you are having breakfast on your own!

Very cute place. Nice crowd as well, and the food. Amazing! And not even that expensive.
