We were keen to check out the roof terrace, which is unfortunately not available yet. Instead we decided to stay for a drink. The person I was with asked for a beer, I wanted a glass of white wine. Unfortunately, according to our bartender, only sauvignon and Chardonnay are available per glass. Okay, change of plans. The bar menu starts with cocktails, so I asked for a White Russian. The person supposed to make it was busy answering questions from colleagues or answering directions, so the wait time was somewhere over 5 mins. He then proceeded to pour some kaluha over a glass-full of ice cubes, then topped off the glass with liquid cream. This was served as the cocktail. After a couple of sips, I realized I have every chance of getting drunk if I finish it. I asked the waitress to take it away and bring me a latte. I first got a black coffee, then upon correction a cappuccino. Close enough. In the half-hour we were there, we had 5 servers, always handy in maintaining a consistent service. The interior is decorated in the spirit of an 80’s hotel lobby. First and last experience here. Good to tick off the list, though.
