I hate to leave a negative review, because the staff were very friendly and things ran well at the hotel. But I got hit with a hidden fee on my way out and I felt I should share. Each room has a book with all the extra stuff you can be charged for. It’s pretty standard but then says they have a laundry service guests can use. No prices listed (unlike everything else) so I assumed it’s included like the internet and coffee downstairs. When I leave they tell me it’s 45euro for the duffel bag of laundry I gave them. That’s a bit outrageous. Maybe ten would have been okay but 45? So 2 stars for lack of transparency and hidden fees

Nice hotel, especially the double rooms.
Great service too and the location is quite ideal, near the city center.
What could be improved :

Although it has a modern glass sliding door the hotel is quite old. For some who adore IKEA furniture this hotel must be looking horrible cause it didn’t contain anything square nor colourful inside but on the other hand this hotel beat the heart of Art Deco style which was very popular back in the 20s to 40s before Retro took over the empire. Although the shape of their furniture’s were nice it wasn’t valuable. They probably have chosen the right era but the wrong attitude that made their furniture become a useless junk instead of antique. However few of their possession are really beautiful like the mirror on the first floor hall and the chandelier on the stairway. read full article …
