As bars near the old church go, this is the better of them. Most of the times we avoid places with English writing on the board but we were cold and they had beer. Turned out to be a great little place. The Kipsatay wasn’t out of this world, but it was very good for bar cuisine. Very friendly service and reasonable prices.

Visited and ate here on my visit to Amsterdam. The place was packed and had a friendly feel. My friend and I sat upstairs and we had a very friendly and outgoing waitress. I wish I could remember her name.
The food was very good and I will visit again on my next visit to one of my favourite cities in the world. Tot ziens.

Lovely sunny terrace overlooking the canal. We only stayed here for a short while to have some drinks and snacks but the service was very friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food wasn’t bad at all.
The only downside really is that it was very busy so it took a bit of time to attract the attention of the staff sometimes.
