Magnum Amsterdam

Hmm for a chocolate lover (I like cacao, dark chocolate and chocolate, nothing else) there are not that many options. I expected to be blown away but my options were limited, so nothing spectacular for me here. I guess I will stick to Magnum from supermarkets where I can find double layers chocolate (crazy)
For bling bling topping lovers this is a great place. You can choose some crazy toppings on your mangnum for only 4 eur.
Tip: if you visit their store in Prinsengracht you can walk a bit across the street, pass Mashua and you will find some nice benches where u can enjoy your icecream and admire the canal.

For € 3.99, you get a handcrafted Magnum bar! You get to pick between dark, milk or white chocolate as the coat, and then 3 toppings of your choice (ranges from fudge, coconut to strawberry sugar and Dutch cookies). There are so many options! Afterwards, they drizzle it with white or milk chocolate, and voila! All done!
The bar was delicious! I experimented with caramel fudge, crushed pistachios, and freeze-​dried raspberries as my toppings. I chose a dark chocolate coat and white chocolate drizzle. The bar turned out to be wonderfully colorful and equally delicious!
The guy who was making my bar also explained the process as he went and was very kind and welcoming! It was overall a great experience, and if you’re in the neighborhood, why not try it and make your own?
