As I travel home, I pass by Jo Sushi nearly every day, and eating here is a delight every time. Always extremely fresh, also later at night. Consistent, and very very big chunks of sushi. Big eaters take note: here you eat a lot for your money! And even so, the quality is hands down the best in town. Dunno why tere are complaints here, but I can absolutely not agree! Ok, the place is a bit small, just a few seats, so sometimes it’s good to reserve or take-​away. Anyway, the friendliness is warm and welcoming, and as a regular sushi eater anywhere I go, coming to Jo Sushi is always the one that makes me smile and satisfied. Totally recommended.

I feel like this will be a pretty easy review. Let’s just say the place and staff are not the most inviting. To top that off the ordering process was quite confusing and in the end more than one thing was missed so we had to wait longer well they made the missing pieces. This seemed like the working of an amateur place at best. Even after the order was messed up he started working on someone else’s order rather than making ours right.
After writing all this about the service I was hopping the sushi would redeem that. It did not. The eel was rubber, too much day old rice in the rolls and tasteless salad. A new one for me was how they used iceberg lettuce as the «crunch» factor in the hand rolls to compensate for the limp seaweed. This could have also been the first time I left sushi on a plate with no intention to return to it, ever.
