I was very skeptical going into this place because they replaced my beloved Two for Joy which used to be a café in the same location. I was relieved to find, therefore, that they actually changed almost nothing of the café except the actual coffee — a strange decision for the brand perhaps but a fortuitous one for me! It’s still the same super-​cozy café with truly delicious coffee, lovely staff, and (dare I say it) I think the menu may have actually improved dramatically. They offer a big range of brunch, lunch, and avocado-​based foods (yes these deserve their own category). I will be here frequently.

Frederix is a micro roaster, what’s a micro roaster you say? It’s the smallest coffee bean roaster we’ve seen, roasting only 1kg of beans at a time.
