Cute little coffee and tea shop-A Dutch version of #Starbucks!!! There are many locations throughout the city this is the closest one to the market and on Haarlemstraat one of the best shopping streets in Amsterdam!!! Lots of variety of coffee and tea to choose from and great service!!! FREE wifi with purchase!!!

Went there this morning for a frozen latte. 4.90 Euro. I hand her a 5 Euro bill, sorry we only take PIN(debit cards). What kind of shit is this? Close to the center of Amsterdam within walking distance of Centraal Station and they don’t want foreigners buying their coffee I guess. Probably why my usual 2 locations I used to get coffee from Every Day when I lived here are now closed.

Good coffee but not enough chocolaty goodness in the white moccha. Other than that the muffin was OK! Comfy couch for destroyed feet after a shopping day !

It’s just coffee. Nothing special, and compared to the selection(yes selection) of roasts at places like Two for Joy and DE this is less than alright coffee at a higher price. While the utility of the big table in the middle is up for debate, I would rather have multiple tables for two. They do have a couple benches outside to watch people angrily trying to get through the busy intersection or getting through on the sidewalk where you sit. Prices are high and there is very little Dutch about it.

Nice place to grab a coffee. I got a flat white and a toasted sandwich with goat cheese and mushroom, which was delish. It’s got great wifi and a big communal table to relax at. I enjoyed myself here:)

Nice place, bad coffee, worse service(for the most part)… Ok, it still wants me to type… Nice place to sit and watch the city cycle by

Really nice coffee place setting to just sit back and do some work on your laptop with their free wifi. A few of the other Coffee Company locations have little to no seating but this has a decent amount of places to sit. There’s a table a few feet away from the front of the ordering counter with others doing the same, so at certain points during the day, it might be hard to get a seat but there’s also seating in the back, but like all places that serve coffee, it’s hard to obtain a seat unless you’re early, lucky or patient. I ordered an Americano Tip: for whatever reason, they DONOT accept CASH, only PIN Cards. Please read other reviews to confirm that. Two ways you can get around this because I surely did not have a chip based card. Ask someone who is paying and if they are nice enough, you can reimburse them in cash for the use of their card. Come with a friend who has a card or go down the street, coffees everywhere.

After walking here in the rain to get a coffee and so some work at what seemed to be a nice place to work on the computer, I was beyond disappointed. As one of the other reviewers noted, I was shocked to learn, after ordering my coffee, that no cash is accepted here and that they do not accept foreign debit/credit cards either(only Dutch cards with a special chip). Really?! So, you are de facto barring non-Dutch customers? Very, very, very disappointing.

I am an American-Dutch woman, visiting relatives here in Amsterdam. I was looking forward to a coffee here because I like the ambiance and used to enjoy working on my laptop at their wooden table when I was here last year, but after pulling out a 5 euro bill to pay, I was told they do not accept cash anymore. I pulled out my American bank card with Visa, but was told they do not accept Mastercard or Visa either. They only accept a Dutch Pinpas. Errr…“Wilt U daarmee zeggen dat alleen Nederlanders in Uw zaak iets kunnen kopen?” I asked. I mean, are you seriously telling me that only Dutch people can purchase something here? His answer: «Ja.» Embarrassed and angry, I told him to stop making my coffee then, because I do not have a Dutch bank account, and I left. How can a café on a touristy street in Amsterdam not have any way for non-Dutch citizens to pay? It’s pretty outrageous. Coupled with my similar experience with the NS when I discovered I could not buy a train ticket at a station near Den Haag without a Pinpas or an OV Kaart(which foreigners would not have), I am beginning to worry that the Wilders agenda of «Nederland voor de Nederlanders» is actually taking hold. Certainly the Dutch customer service has always been sub-par, but this is taking it to a whole new level when there literally is no way for outsiders to participate in your economy. Booooo to Coffee and Company Haarlemmerdijk.

Average chain coffee house to get a cup with wifi that access for only an hour at a time. So you need to keep buying coffee of you stay longer than an hour

Not sure what I was expecting, but the 55 degrees outside definitely made the Caramel Bambino some of the finest coffee I’ve ever had. The Bambino itself is an espresso based beverage with chocolate syrup at the bottom and stopped with whipped cream. The Caramel version is finished with caramel syrup atop the whipped cream. Wifi here is FREE with purchase.

I stopped by Coffee and Company trying to quench my craving for American style coffee. The coffee here was good but missed the mark for what I was looking for. Having said that, it was closer than having a koffie crema at a café. Don’t get me wrong — I have nothing against Dutch coffee but sometime you just get a craving for coffee from home!
