If you’re not in a hurry, sit downstairs and order the«Lazy Breakfast», and a coffee. Maybe two coffees, for good measure. Great service, tasty fresh food.

This was the first B&B I went to in Amsterdam. The coffee and tea are great. The service, for Americans, is more of what you would expect, which is attentive. The staff is very friendly. If you are in this part of Amsterdam I highly recommend going here for a nice break in your day.

I see that there might be some tough competition between this place and the one next door. Being hard to make a choice, let me telk you about what’s different over here: the wide variety of gluten free and sustainable farming options, the soothing music playing in the background and the preference for payment with the PIN(this always has extra points on my book, hate to carry ‘clinking’ coins around). It’s really spacious, bright and airy inside so it’s actually one of those places where you might prefer to stay indoors. You’ll have the Prinsengracht as your ‘postcard’ view! Honorouble mention: their coffee mugs — enormous ;)

Ok, i already love this place! Super cosy and comfy place to be on a rainy day. What i find impressive is that the customer service is on point, despite it being very busy. You know Amsterdam is famous for slow service, but that is not the case here. I thought that I would spend a little time here before i head over to OLVG. I was elated to find out that they have gluten free bagels and muffins with no egg.

A really cozy chain coffee bagel shop that I’ve come to love in my short time in Amsterdam. This stop is especially a favorite thanks to their accommodating staff and relaxing location. It gets crowded here, as many students stay to do work or chat, but they also offer easy and quick takeout bagels. The selection is great! There are so many different kinds of bagels, cream cheese, and combinations. They also have coffees, teas, and a variety of smoothies. Wifi is free, just ask for the password. Price is affordable and easy for a student on the go.

Cool place for a nice breakfast or lunch, friendly staff, relaxed and causal vibe and — last but not least — awesome bagels! If you pass around here, definitely stop by!

This place is absolutely amazing, they redid my whole order, eventhough it wasnt their fault that I didnt like the drink they made. Absolutely amazing staff and very nice ambiance. I recommend it even just for a coffee. Beware, the«coffee company» across the street is much, much worse, with rude staff. Go to this palce. I tipped them well, please do same. American standard service in Europe, very rare.

This place leaves American bagel shops very lacking. I found this place a couple of years ago on a trip here. I had the bagel with goat cheese, bacon and pine nuts. This is the best bagel I’ve ever had. The ambiance is coffee shop casual. Small, but comfortable tables with seating inside and out. The service was very friendly and about average on speed. The prices are typical of a bagel and coffee shop.

Gluten-free and«normal» bagels with a large variety of toppings! This is one of the only places to have a gluten-free lunch near the university. My favourite is the tuna salad with extra chive cream cheese. The staff are friendly and helpful, and service tends to be relatively fast — good for a quick lunch break. They’re open early– starting at 8am, so you can also have a coffee to kickstart your day. If you do go for the gluten-free option, plan a couple of extra minutes because it needs a little extra time in the oven. Lovely outdoor patio on a sunny day.
