We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The food was absolutely interesting and perfect. And the waiter chose the perfect wine. We LOVED it. This is the best dinner we have had in France — after 4 nights in Paris and 4 in the Dordogne.

**GOODFUSIONBISTROINSARLAT** 3.5STARS After researching for a good restaurant in the Sarlat, we decided to go here(based on rave reviews). Located in the heart of Sarlat’s old town. AMBIANCE ========== Nice, but small terrace seating. Small indoor seating area. Somewhat modern French bistro with some Asian influences. FOOD ===== 3 course menu = 21 Euros **FOIEGRASCANARD** Tasted good with the provided toasted sliced baguettes. Not the best foie gras I’ve ever had, but not bad for the price. RATING: 3⁄5 **ROASTEDDUCKONPUFFPASTRY** Loved the fresh side vegetables and fried potatoes. Reminded me of Chinese food. The combination of the pastry and the tasty duck on top was very flavorful and filling. RATING: 4⁄5 **NUTCAKEWITHWHIPPEDCREAM** Wow, this was a sliced muffin and ice cream with a side of whipped cream. I can make these better at home. Should have ordered the tiramisu or the cheese plate instead. Disappointed since I’m in France dammit. RATING: 2⁄5 SERVICE ======== Somewhat slow in between dishes, but our waitress was friendly overall. This was not the best restaurant in Sarlat, but a good choice if you want something reasonably-priced with a different twist. RECOMMEND for small groups and couples.
