With a menu of 100 pizzas, there’s something for everyone. It’s always packed with people waiting in line to get in. Pizzas are good but try the salads sometimes too. On my latest visit I ordered Quattro Formaggio with ‘chilijam’ as extra topping and it was absolutely great. Salad buffet is included with the dinner.

If you are in Tampere for a few days or more you should not leave before checking out Napoli. It’s a popular pizza spot(there might be a line but it moves fast) and they serve 100 different kinds of pizzas made with fresh ingredients. there’s also the salad bar, which comes with your meal. This is not the best pizza I have ever had(I’m from NYC) but it’s still very impressive and I love the dough that they use. You can get pizzas like #100, the Finlandia, which has venison and Finlandia vodka, but if you want to start simply, try #1 — the Margherita.(And I’m not afraid to eat mine NY style, which means pick it up and fold it in half, and then tell everybody how awesome you are for eating it the«right» way). On my last visit I ordered #6 — the Calzone, which listed ingredients simply«cheese, ham». I misinterpreted this to mean I was going to get served a pie with extra cheese and ham toppings, since I thought the title was simply a name that they gave it, like Quattro Stagione or Frutti di Mare. But no — it’s an actual calzone(and good too). If you don’t speak Finnish and get the Finnish menu, just ask for the English one. Get a house red wine. When finished, pay for your meal up front and drop some money into the tip jar.

Arguably, the best pizzeria in Tampere. Unfortunately, being the best is not always good enough. It is the best because of using fresh ingredients, making nice looking pan pizzas, etc. But although the restaurant is Italian in the spirit, the taste palette is very much adapted to the Finnish taste, which can be well described by a single word«sweet». Check carefully what you order or you can easily end up with a pizza that tastes like a dessert, which unless you are a Finn may be a negative experience. It is so difficult to find a good pizza in Tampere. So, if you feel like pizza, the best you can do is go to Napoli but, I repeat, when selecting check all the ingredients, including what sauce they put, because it may be for example a barbecue sauce, not the traditional tomato one.

This busy restaurant is brilliant. They’re famous for their menu of 100 pizzas, including one with Finlandia vodka. The menu is huge with loads of choice. Aside from pizza they offer a lot of tasty pastas and other options. Portions are large, so it’s good value for money. I’ve often left with restaurant feeling very fat. This is a really popular restaurant, and it’s very normal to have to queue to get in. However, it’s definitely worth the wait, and I wouldn’t really complain about doing it.
