For the first year, service was great. Office staff was friendly and maintenance was quick. The past year and a half, it’s left a lot to be desired, understandable since only one employee(questionably) has been here as long as I have. Maintenance supervisor Brian. The Brighthouse debacle(I always wondered what kind of kickbacks they got from that) rewiring all apartments for 1 cable provider, where all furniture had to be pulled to the center of each room for a week — - and surprise! The drywall and painting fixes were(and still are) substandard work, even though we had to move everything a second time while they supposedly fixed the issues. I still have blue sharpie on my walls from the Brighthouse contractors. I had to have a background check to live here, I’m sure the staff does too, and I could not believe Buckingham gave keys to our apartments to these contractors without knowing if they had been through background checks. Nobody drove a Brighthouse marked vehicle, so it seemed VERY shady, and on the cheap. I’ve seen AT&T and DirectTV out here, and all vehicles are clearly marked. If I filed a work order when I first moved in, response time was within one business day, back then. Now-granted they built additional apartments-it’s two or three days for a response(unless it’s a lockout or plumbing emergency-which you are charged extra for by the way). Occupancy in the old section where I live is 60% at best, it was 100% when I moved in.
