This would be 3.5 stars if possible. First impression of Corner Cone was very nice. It is actually on the corner 72nd& Ransom Rd. in the small farming community of Beaverdam. The café is very cute inside and out. You walk into a bright eating area with red ice cream type chairs around about 8 tables, buttery yellow walls and paned farmhouse windows. Very quaint. The ice cream choices are on display near the register. Further down the counter there are diner like bar stools facing a muted tv for singles. Now the food. .. hmmm, the good news first — excellent cole slaw. Otherwise it was OK. The wrap I ordered was presented well on black/white checkered paper. Taste wise it was good and fresh. I also got a shake which strangely tasted of bacon. Yeah, very strange. There is parking and a place for picnic out back.

I think I found a new favorite restaurant! + Super friendly atmosphere. + Tons of menu options(haven’t tried pizza yet but chx salad sandwich is good and the BBQ pork rocks!) + Ice-cream/shakes good too — sometimes key lime pie ice-cream…[salivating just thinking about it] + I know I already mentioned the friendly atmosphere but want to add that I couldn’t ask for better customer service. :-)
