Worst thing that happens at a drive thru: you ask for ketchup and you get 2 packets, then you drive off and they gave you no napkins. Next time I’ll go to the country line location

On our roadtrip back from California, headed to Phoenix Az, we just wanted an In-​N-​Out Burger. We stopped at one back in San Bernadino, but when we saw the VERY LONG LINES, we had to bail. Not to be denied my“road burger”, I start « Unilocaling» to find another In-​N-​Out. And we exit the highway, only to, once again, be «denied by the line».So once again I turn to Unilocal.I see my «yelp tribe» is sayinging Bakers is BETTER than stupid ‘ol In-​N-​Out. So we pull off the highway AGAIN. Yucaipa exit off Hwy 10. There is easy access to the restaurant. This time the lines are reasonable & moving quick. And the prices are about the same. And yup— the BURGER IS BETTER than In-​N-​Out ! Bigger & Juicy & with a toasted bun ! We will be looking for Bakers from now on, especially this one !

We can always count on Baker’s to prepare us one of their many items with integrity. Year after year we return sometimes a few times a week. One of the supervisors or shift leader in the afternoon has made feel welcomed since I was a young kid when they first opened up. Shorter lady with prescription glasses always cooks the best food! I kidd you not everytime she is there the food is cooked as if it were a meal for her kids. Thank you! I will figure out your name.
In & Out better bring their A game when locating here next to Baker’s! Thank you for years of quality service! Oh yeah the owners of this place are great people!

A Baker is a Baker no matter where you go, what city, location, nuff said-​a Baker is a Baker right?
Well ummm no… this review about the Yucaipa Baker’s is all about the lost art of customer service… every time I come to this Baker’s the staff always greets me and my boys with a, «hello» and a smile or a «welcome to Baker’s how can I help you?» Oh man you got me right there… but wait it gets better…
1^st-​As you can tell, I’m a Deal-​of-​the-​Day kinda of guy so we know all the tricks. I’m sure the Baker’s staff knows the tricks too? When it’s a bomb-​azz DoD you and your party gotta go thru the drive-​thur and walk-​up service… how else can you eat for less than 10 bucks? Well here at this Baker’s they are soooooooo cool and down to earth they don’t tripp on the number of people you have in your party… drive-​thru, walk-​up it’s all the same to them… Deal-​of-​the-​Day

2^nd-​the grill staff gives just the right amount of portions, reminds me of what Baker’s was all about-​Good, inexpensive food, fresh and hott…
3^rd-​again back to the workers… here at this location, the staff is not all stuck up-​so down to earth and chill…

Not a bad location. They do a good job at the drive thru, but they will short you on hot sauce/​ketchup if you don’t double check. I think they are best for breakfast, but lunch and dinner is good too. Their burgers are what In-N-Out’s would taste like if they had freezers. Still pretty good. I like their barbacoa tacos and quesadillas too. If you haven’t been here before, they charge a quarter for drink refills, so plan accordingly.

The employees are friendly and always receive the correct order. The food is what it is… not bad but could be better. Love their shakes!

Let me start by saying we were looking for an In N Out on our way home from Palm Springs, but couldn’t find one and Unilocal recommend Bakers, so we stopped. Now it’s definitely not an In N Out burger BUT it’s a close second, I was not disappointed. Very similarly made with double patty, double cheese, lettuce and thousand island. The only thing I didn’t care for was the sweet bun.
There is also a ton of other food to choose from beside burgers. And root beer floats! The service was pretty good to, very courteous.

Always great food and service! Have been coming here for years and would recommend this place to anyone.

I’m giving 5 stars for the wonderful employees Brooke and Monique for sitting with my forgotten purse for about 20 minutes while I made my way back to get it! Thank you so much for keeping my things safe for me until I could pick them up. I appreciate it!!! :)

The food is good, restaurant is clean. The staff was helpful in assisting us with our order. The food takes a bit longer to get to the table than most fast food places but that could have something to do with them cooking it when you order it. Good selection on their menu.

The location is great, it never seems to be that busy when we stop in & the staff is really on top of things. The vegetarian menu is pretty great & my kids love the boca burgers. I gave them 4 stars because once my drink tasted weird but really not a big deal.

The taco burger is the best invention I have ever tried! if you don’t try a taco burger you will be missing out in your life for me

I love this particular Bakers not only for it’s «fine» dining but it’s convenient location (exit Yucaipa Blvd. NORTH) off the 10 freeway. Not to mention the friendly staff they have at this location, I’m always greeted when walking in and asked «The usual?»
If your on a budget, the «budget meals» menu items are the best bang for your buck. You can order a bean & cheese tostada, burger, OR a bean & cheese burrito w/​fries and a drink for just under $ 4. I always order the burrito and it’s delicious! It’s better than some of the bean and cheese burritos I’ve tasted in my life. I once had an old couple come up to me, while eating, and ask me what I’m eating. I responded with «bean & cheese burrito.» They were like «you make that burrito look so good the way your enjoying it.» LMAO! Hahahahaha «it’s delicious!» I said.
If you’ve never tried Bakers I suggest you give it a try. Some items won’t be as appeasing as others but there is something for everyone on the menu. Make sure and also try a shake for dessert.

Mmmmmm, hand dipped cherry shake (That’s all I would ever get here. If I really wanted mexican food, I’d go to somewhere else on Yucaipa blvd.)

I am 27 and have been eating at Bakers all my life and this is the FIRST Bakers ever to make me sick! I was so sad because I have been able to eat Bakers ever since. This particular place needs to get it together.

Edit: After coming here a few more times, I’m giving them more credit for moving things along. They still have the best bean and cheese burritos here.
I give Bakers, in general, 4 stars. This Bakers is incredibly slow, though. I mean, come on, 20 minutes in a drive-​thru…

When we travel into California, one the must stop at places we have is Bakers, my kids love bakers, when we moved out to Arizona, they were all bummed because Phoenix does not have any Bakers out here.
I have to say for a fast food place they make a pretty good bean and cheese burrito, get it with red sauce, you won’t be disappointed!
Since we have family nearby this location this is our go to stop, and have been going here for a couple of years now, and it’s never let us down.
If you have never stopped and tried Bakers, you should, you won’t be disappointed!
