Stopped in this Carl’s Jr this morning for breakfast. I ordered a Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit combo meal. The biscuit itself was way over cooked, too crunchy and burnt. I asked if they had any that were not that way, and I was told no because I had the last one of the batch and they had just put some in the oven that were still raw. Really? I never would’ve known! The girl at the counter told me they are all cooked that way because they need to be cooked up to a certain temperature. I guess the employees have never seen their own posters or commercials advertising a light golden color on the biscuits. The hash browns were cold, and the customer service with attitude was about the same temperature. I won’t stop at this Carl’s ever again…

Horrible the manager with the big truck is so rude. They increase prices every three months it seems like and have a horrible bathroom. No point of being 24 hr if the char grill is down at 9 and u can only order fried.

I love fast food restaurants. All kinds. I don’t discriminate. THIS Carl’s Jr, however, deserves a Unilocal review. I drive through Yuba City a few times a month, and I always stop at this Carl’s Jr for food and a bathroom break. There are chickens that wander around outside(real live chickens), the customer service is pretty good, the bathrooms are always clean, and the dining area actually has flatscreens, booths, and nice lighting. It almost looks like a Denny’s. The food here is one of two extremes– either it was JUST made the second you get it, or it’s been sitting under the heat lamp all day. The times that I’ve gotten freshly fried chicken and piping hot fries make up for the times that I’ve gotten rubbery food, but I wish it was always fresh. I’d wait the few extra minutes. :)

I stopped in for breakfast this morning, and was disappointed by both the service and the food I ordered. The young lady at the counter VERY rudely informed me that they weren’t serving breakfast as of yet. Despite that, I went ahead and sat down to wait. When I got back up to order, I found out that it was going to be a long while before their biscuits would be ready. Apparently they were running really behind. So, I ordered the bacon and egg breakfast burrito. Most of the cheese was stuffed into one end of the burrito, and it didn’t taste very well at all. It’s doubtful as to whether or not I will be going in there again.

5 stars for fast service and fresh hot food. I’ve never had a bad experience at good old CJ’s on Bridge Street! The drive-thru wait never takes too long and the inside of the restaurant is always clean with ton of tables.

Food is good here. Crew needs to focus on their customers more. Slow morning, no greet, pretty much shoved food across counter with no interaction. Then walked out in lobby and was social with the seniors. The management needs to remind crew that. EVERY customer deserves the same courtesy and respect as others. Then again this has been the MO with all carls around here. Mediocre.

This is actually one of the better Carl’s Jr. restaurants I’ve been to but the main reason I wanted to write a review was because of the chickens. If anyone knows this part of Yuba City, there are chickens everywhere. I’m surprised I haven’t seen one inside the movie theater yet. So the last time I was here, there were a few chickens clogging up the drive thru lane. These chickens weren’t moving and I didn’t know what to do. I looked up and could see the drive thru attendant miming the universal symbol for«honk the horn» so I did. It wasn’t enough so I just laid on the horn a little bit more and started creeping forward. They took their time, but they moved out of the way and I was able to pick up, ironically enough, the chicken stars I ordered and go about the rest of my day. I think the chickens are great. If anything, it was quite noble of them to try and stop me from eating their brethren, or at least fast food in general.

C J’s, a classy fast food restaurant. The kind of place that everyone wants to be at, from fun after football games to older gentlemen playing chess. The food is consistently great, the atmosphere is warm and inviting with smooth jazz playing softly to remind you, that you are in a premium place. It’s open 24/7, so after a late midnight première of a movie you know exactly where you can go to talk about it with your friends. There’s a wide variety of great food choose from, the only thing about Carls junior is that the food can be a bit pricey for fast food. But if you’re willing to pay for that price, you will be rewarded with high quality food and friendly service.

Great food! Never had a bad experience here. Ample parking. This has been the teen hang out after high school football events. The only drawback to eating here is trying to arrive from west bound Bridge Street, trying to leave the drive thru and turn north bound on Hwy. 99, and trying to leave from West Onstott Road and head north bound on Hwy. 99.
