I understand if an office isn’t staffed full-time(this one is almost never staffed), but the biggest problem is that the idea of customer service is sort of lost on them entirely. Never mind not being able to find a human being on site, it’s more a matter of not being able to leave a message for a human being, nor get a reply to an e-mail, nor actually reach a human being on a cell phone or land line. This is especially frustrating, as I am sure you can imagine, dear reader, when their payment system isn’t working and they’re trying to charge you late fees. Also irksome is the fact that they inexplicably upped my rent by about $ 25 for no reason(again, couldn’t find someone to explain). Or when my card to swipe in/out doesn’t work. The list goes on.

went to the storage office in Ypsilanti on Washtenaw to fill out my paper work and had no problem. I knew where the Main Office was, got there and had no problem with the sign in. went to the site where my storage space was and couldn’t get access with my key card(24⁄7). .I called and the guy and he said he could see me on monitor and let me in to facility, he said to look around and he would fix my Key card, about 5 minutes later called to ensure the spot would work for me and assured me my Key card would now work. I under some frustrations if the Main U-Haul Corp doesn’t tell you need to go to the main office when you call the 800#. Remember Corps are stupid and no accountability. but Erick did a great JOB!
