G & K Floor Covering

G&K Floor Covering is BY FAR the most knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly place for flooring. We had visited the regular big box stores: Lowes, Home Depot, Lumber Liquidators. We also visited a few specialty stores in Ann Arbor and Chelsea. G&K Floor Covering beats them all by miles. It was the only business where we walked away with confidence in the information we were given. The service is really top-​notch, I could not have asked for anything more. Paul listened to our situation, understood what we wanted, and was able to recommend products in our price range. The two guys in the store know everything. If you are looking for flooring for your home, let me save you a ton of frustration: This store is all you need.

This was my first foray into buying carpet. As such I had A LOT of questions. Glenn was extremely helpful, supplying me with all the information I needed to compare styles and make an informed choice. The price was competitive and the installation was fast and professional. I absolutely love my new carpet. G and K flooring gave me a great quality carpet at a competitive price. Couldn’t be happier with the whole process.

I visited G & K Flooring after reading their favorable on-​line reviews. I have to say that they surpassed their other reviews. This was my first time buying new carpet and I wanted to get good carpeting. I met with Glenn at his store. He asked where the carpet would be used and for my concerns. I have pets, so I’m concerned about ease in cleaning and durability. I also have asthma & allergies, so was concerned about off gassing. Glenn helped me narrow down my search to beautiful Shaw carpeting without the latex backing, and to be installed with mid-​level padding. G & K’s price was very reasonable. They don’t hike up their prices in order to slash them to give you a false sense of savings. They come out with their best price, which was very competitive.
They had to order the carpet and kept in touch with me thru every step. Prior to the installation, they rolled out the carpet at their shop to let it off-​gas (so it wouldn’t smell so strongly after installation).
Installation was quick & the installers were very professional. It was so worth it to have them remove the old carpet, padding, and tacks. The new carpet looks amazing! And it feels like I’m walking on silk. I’d definitely use G & K Flooring again!

My elderly mother needed the linoleum replaced in her kitchen and utility room, so I went to both G&K and Lowe’s for estimates. G&K was less expensive for the identical product, so we went with them. The whole process went very smoothly, and we are extremely satisfied with the finished product.
