Ulta Salon, Cosmetics and Fragrance

My two daughters and I love this Ulta salon! Violet is a wonderful artist and does an absolutely beautiful job! We have always been pleased with the expert service we receive since we became clients 3 years ago. The store is always fully stocked with all the supplies we could wish for and it’s a pleasure to shop here as well.

The salon is amazing!
I am incredibly curious on how things work. Dying my hair isn’t something that I have have done in the past. Dark brunette, I wanted some blonde. A LOT of blonde. Amber and I went over techniques and options to pick what was best for my lifestyle. The best products for taking care of my new color at home were brought to me with detailed instructions on how to use them after my purchase. Then when it came time for the cut, same thing. Discussed my routines and schedule to see what would be easier and then what looked best on the shape of my face.
I can say that it wasn’t only this particular stylist. The lady in the chair next to me was receiving the same service.
I know from experience that other salons I would have walked into the store and told them to just bleach my whole head and they would have kindly obliged allowing me to walk out looking a hot mess. The girls know that you are a representation if their work and they will not allow you to walk out onto the streets looking horrible.
Kudos to the Ulta team! I appreciate the extensive insight and wonderful work on my locks! Can’t wait for my next visit for touch ups on the highlights. They look amazing!

DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE SITE to make an appointment! It is completely not useful at the store. I was called 15 min. before my appointment to be asked to reschedule since the online request didn’t sync with their store booking and to mention that I’m already outside the door. ALSO, I did a get a call confirming that time, the day prior and yet that girl failed to notice something was double booked. However, i was nice and said it was fine. She absolutely stated 4pm for 2 days later. I DID NOT get a call confirming that day and time but I clearly remembered what she said and put it in my calendar immediately, so I didn’t think of anything about it.
The day of the appointment comes along and the worst thing can happen. BUT it might not for you but Oh this was shitty. I got into a car accident driving to this place, I can see Ulta right where I got in my accident. Sadly the first thing I called was Ulta to state that I am coming late due to my accident and they were like «oh that’s okay I will let her know» blah blah. I understand how crucial hair appts are. I didn’t get into Ulta until 4:40pm and the girl who actually called me had to get the manager. So the manager says I was scheduled for 3:30pm and I came far too late that getting me in would ruin the other appointments.
I WAS SO HEATED WHEN SHE SAID THAT.
I told her are you kidding me, you rescheduled me in the first place b/​c of their technical issues, didn’t even call to verify the appt., I get into a car accident which wouldn’t really happen if I wasn’t rescheduled since I wasn’t going to do anything that day, and you’re telling me I can not get my hair done. Then she adds that the website should have known to not book late hours and I was like, who was the idiot who called to confirm the appointment in the first place!!! she was obviously not computer automated!!!
Conclusion, don’t waste your time with inexperienced staff and people who blame technology for their issues. I told the manager she should call and reschedule one those appointments that happen in 15 minutes since that’s what they did to me to let someone else get their hair done. all she could say is sorry and that’s all they are paid to do. THIS PLACE IS A ONE & DONE. Sad that the manager couldn’t think outside the box, I just wanted a little color added to my hair which means there would be a lot of waiting time for me anyway.

My fiancée likes this place. They always have what she needs.
