Horrible food was cold wait for about a hour after to get our food and it was not busy still made us pay for salad bar

Hoss reminds me of a Golden Corral from 20 years ago, where they still made steaks to order but the quality was definitely not gourmet.
This Hoss has decent service, is clean and has a very decent salad bar (albeit no real bacon bits). The soup selection is nice and the desert bar is excellent.
The menu items tend to be a bit cookie cutter and fairly hit and miss. I have gotten a decent ribeye here and a mediocre t-​bone. The steaks are cooked bland so a steak sauce is a must. The burgers are pretty good, especially their chili cheese burger that they call a coney island burger.
If you pick and choose wisely, your dining experience here can be pretty rewarding.

Hoss’s is always a great stop go food. There was no wait for lunch and the food and service was great. The buffet was well stocked with a good amount of food and the bread was baked fresh. Lots of parking available and a great place to sit and watch the cars come off 30.
