This 8-​bedroom Victorian on the harbor is perfect for groups or families wanting a seaside vacation. From the moment we stepped onto to the porch facing the ocean and into the sparkling eat-​in kitchen, we felt at home. The kitchen/​sun room was the perfect gathering spot for dining, board games and taking in the sunrises and sunsets. A small side porch overlooking the lawn and York Harbor is ideal for quieter times. Tucked into a corner of land, the house is large enough to accommodate groups, but the bedrooms and piano parlor were great for reading and resting. Leave your car behind — we walked to the public beach, along waterfront trails, and to 2 local inns with great restaurants. The Kittery Outlets are nearby, and cities like Portsmouth, NH and Portland, Maine are within a 30– to 60-​minute drive. The well-​appointed kitchen had just what we needed to prep everything from morning coffee to lobster dinners. The house has vintage charm and antiques in every room, but includes modern amenities like flat-​screen TVs and Wi-​Fi. Everything was spotless yet totally comfortable. We reluctantly left following a fun, refreshing visit and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the ultimate Maine vacation.
